- Will with the cute girl, dancing akwardly. But his heart aren't on the cute girl. They are on Mike Wheeler.

Will is standing on the dance floor and he is holding the cute girl that asked him to dance. They are dancing and she is smiling so much. Will tries to smile too but it just ends up with him looking weird because he can't smile. He's not happy, he's upset. He is upset and he is angry at himself.

When they are dancing she keeps looking him in the eyes but he can't look back. Will keeps looking back at Mike and El and oh god he want to throw up when he sees them close to each other and the look on both of their faces. El's eyes are glowing and he has never seen Mike smile as big as he does right now. He can feel the love between them.

After a while a really slow song comes on and the girl Will is dancing with tries to get closer to him and she puts her head on his shoulder.
He feels so uncomfortable that he is close to crying but he keeps holding her close.

But then at the best part of that depressing slow song that is playing Will looks at Mike again and he sees him pressing his lips against El's.

Will feels so dumb because before El came back he thought that maybe, just maybe there was a chance that Mike would see him as something more than a best friend.

But Will gets it now, Mike really loves her. Mike loves her so damn much because he has never smiled at Will like that. There is a look on Mikes face that breaks Will.

And seeing Mike Wheeler, the love of Wills life kissing her over and over again makes the poor boys heart break. It breaks and breaks again and he can't stop staring at them. He is so jealous because he would have done anything to be El if that meant that Mike would love him like that.

- Hey zombie boy, whats wrong? The girl asks and Will is back to reality again. He must have stopped moving.
- I'm sorry but I can't do this Will says and he can see the sad look on her face.
Will hates to make other people sad but he really can't keep doing this.

So he just walks away from that stupid, stupid dance floor. When no one sees him he starts to run. He runs out of that damn school and when he finally breathes in the cold air he breaks down.

He sits down on a bench outside the school and he looks down at the stupid clothes he's wearing. Will hates himself so much and he has never felt this lost and lonely. A lot of things is playing in his mind. He can hear the bullies and his dad screaming that he is a fag, queer and a ugly fairy boy. Then he thinks about Mike and thats when the tears starts to run down from his face. He thinks of all of their memories from they were small kids, he thinks about the time Mike put his hand on Wills and he almost fainted and he thinks about all of their hugs.

After a few minutes Will is crying like never before and he is shaking because it's so cold outside but it is nothing compared to how cold Will feels on the inside.

He cries so much that he doesn't even hear that someone is coming. Will just keeps crying and he can't stop. He just lets everything out.

- Will is that you someone says and Wills heart almost stops because he knows that voice very well.

It's Mikes voice.

Will just looks up at Mike and oh god all he can think of is how ugly he must look to Mike with all of the tears and his red, swollen eyes.

- I needed some air Will says with a really weird voice.
- Will what has happened, why are you outside all alone here in the cold? Mike says and sits down besides Will.
Wills lips starts to shake and he can feel himself tear up again.
- Tell me whats wrong Mike says with his soft voice.
- You shouldn't be here. You should be inside dancing with El. I saw the way you looked at her Will says and his hands are shaking so bad.
- I was worried about you Will. You just disapeared again Mike says with a sad voice.
- I'm fine Mike Will whispers.
- Don't lie to me, i heard you crying Mike says with a quiet voice and then he puts his hand on Wills hand. Just like he did that time.

- I'm a freak Mike.
- Stop saying that Mike says and he almost sounds angry.
- I am in love with you Will suddenly almost screams and after he says it he can't breathe.
Mike just looks at him with a look in his eyes Will has never seen before.
- I'm sorry but it's true. I am a freak.
Will is fully crying again.
- Why didn't you tell me sooner Mike whispers.
- Why didn't i tell you? Because you are in love with someone else Will says and laughs but it just sounds weird cause it's not a happy laugh.
- I have tried so hard to show you that i like you these past months Mike says and now he's the one that's crying.
- But it felt like you never saw me as anything more than a friend Mike says with a quiet voice.
Will has never felt so many emotions before.
- But i see the way you look at El he says.
- Don't you see the way I look at you Will? It's you and it's always been you. I do love her but nothing compares to what i feel for you. I just never thought that you felt the same.
Will can't breathe and he can't say anything so he just looks at Mike.

They are just looking at each other for a while, trying to take in everything that just happened but suddenly Mike is even closer to Will and in a few seconds he is kissing Will.

Will is exploading inside. He is screaming inside. He never wants it to end.

When they kiss Will doesn't feel like a freak anymore. He feels true happiness for the first time in ages.

When the kiss ends Mike smiles so big.
- I'll take it back he says and laughs.
- What do you mean? Will says with a bit of worry in his voice.
- Asking you to be my friend isn't the best thing i've ever done anymore. It's kissing you.
Will laughs and his face turns a bit red.

- I think i love you Byers Mike says.
- I think i love you too Wheeler Will says.

Then they just sits there in the cold for a while, close to each other

and maybe everything is going to be okay.
