Fingers brushing my lips diligently as my other arm is supported by the washbasin, guiding my form to stand up. Disgust wracks my whole body, as I take a look at the petals lying in front of me. My thumb scours the handle, when another wave of retch forces me onto my knees. The soft texture of coral petals stroke my palate, some of them gluing onto the side of the toilet bowl, dismally, bending downwards wistfully. My palm is patched to my stomach, hoping that it would stop the flowers.

"You okay there, Mark?" a worrying voice hits my ears. I have no idea just how long I have been away. The protesting crackling sound emitted from my knees as i stand scares me. Facing the mirror can I only realize the petal left on my face. Cold water washes over my face after the tap was turned, cooling me down. The door opens.

"Sure just.. you know. My stomach's a bit grumpy" a thin mask hides the true smile on my lips. A tired and curved person faces me through his pupils, which never seem to find calmness.

"You sure?" asks Jackson again. My head nods, believing that I could disappear faster. Moving my weight from one foot to another, I try to persist, despite his strong fingers touching my weak wrist. I must go. If our contact is kept longer, even just by a minute, another dose will make its way up my throat.

"Mark, you know you can tell me anything." I know there is a solution. The balm exists, but that would lead me to the loss of someone I never want to lose.

"I do, but really. Everything's fine" his broad shoulders and warm embrace do not stop me anymore from finally entering my room. With a closed door behind my back, my body crashes on the bed. A deep sigh heaves past my lips as I face the wall. The wall his back used to lean against, the wall we both used to lay next to.
