Let Her Go

  I couldn't breathe. I felt my hands grab around my throat out of instinct but I knew it wasnt going to work.

  I heard annabeth scream my name and I wanted go call back, I just couldn't.

   "Annabeth." I said in my head, hoping to give her a look so she could understand. I didn't want to let her go, but I had to. "I love you" I whispered, even though I knew she wouldn't be able to understand me.

  Then I let go of my throat, taking one last breath, allowing the water around me into my system.

  And I drowned. 

   okay so what I normally do with my one shots and headcannons is take a direct quote from it and make it the title of the headcannons/ one shot.
