Abi sat at the campfire, knowing today would be the day she was claimed.
She sat in a far corner of the seating, saving herself from much embarrassment. She was wearing a black batman t-shirt, black ripped jeans, and yellow converse to match the yellow on the shirt.
Chiron trotted up to fire and announced the arrival of a new camper.
She held her breathe knowing she would be claimed any second. she prayed silently that it was Hades.
everyone gasped as something light up abover her head.
Chiron bowed and said "All hail Abi Adams, daughter of batman."
abi looked above her head to see the bat signal glazing abkver her.
a smile tugged at her lips, and she looked at the full moon to see the outline of batman flying past.
"thanks dad" she whispered.
