I had gone to my room, crying for about an hour. My Dad had came to my door and knocked. "Go away!" I said through tears. I heard him walk away. I had so much going through my head. How is that a reason to be dead? How did he know that is why? How did she knew they existed? And why did I have to be proved that my Mom was right? This was all too much all at once. I had eventually went to sleep.
..........................
The next morning, I got up really early. My Dad was asleep on the couch with a bottle by him. I had just got in the shower. Still have not forgotten what was said last night. But than I also remembered that he had said that we had to move. And than I realized I can not leave. I have already made friends. Which is really rare, so I decided even if he leaves without me, I am staying here. So I decided to text him "Did you really mean we are leaving?" So I kept getting ready. I got on my bike and rode to school. It had not opened just yet, but I parked in front and waited. Just than, Patricia came up. "Oh, I see you are up and here early." She had a big smile on her face.
"And I see you are in a very good mood."
"I always am. I have the world around me. I enjoy living in it."
"Lucky."
She stared and me, and than I regretted saying anything. "Are you okay?" She asked.
"Yeah, I am fine." Than she looked at me like she knew I was lying. I ignored it. Than William came up. "Good morning, William!" Patricia said. Once again, with a big smile on her face.
"Good morning Patricia, Emma." William said. I nodded my head. After a while, because for some reason we just stood there in silence, a bus came up, pouring with students. Than the doors opened and we all went in. As usual, it was breakfast time, and we sat at the same table that we do for lunch. Than everyone of our little group came up. I did not say anything, but the whole cafeteria was full of kids chattering to their heart's content. About anything and everything. Than my phone buzzed. I looked and it was my Dad. He was responding to my text, "No, I said that for a minute because I was scared. But I am going to leave it to you." But William was beside me, and so happened to see what I put and said "You are leaving already?" Everyone at our table paused and looked at me. "No, he said it was up to me, and I am saying no." And with that, they went back to talking. So I responded and said "No, I do not want to leave." So I looked up and was listening to the conversation, but noticed that William kept glancing at me. I ignored it. And than the school bell rang. Everyone got up and headed to their lockers and then to class for the day. Another thing is all of our lockers are really close by each other. So we all grouped up to go to class, but William did not join us. "William, you coming?"
"I will come, I need to do something. Go ahead." But when we left, I looked back at him, and he was staring at me. I just kept walking. I did not think anything of it. After a couple minutes, he came in. And again, the whole time he came in, he was staring at me. Now it scared at me. Than he looked past me. I look over, and he was staring at Aaron. I learned that Aaron is a vampire. Which scared me, a little, though. I have no knowledge or experience with these type of people. So nothing scares me that bad. All I know is that vampires are blood suckers. I did not really care. But than I realized that Aaron kept staring at me and back to William. Like they were having a conversation in their heads. I just went back to paying attention to the teacher. Than my phone buzzed again. I sneaked to look at it. We are not allowed to have phones in class, so we all sneak it. I think by now the teachers stopped caring, or else she would have said something. "This is Patricia, got any plans this weekend?" I looked up, she was looking at me. "idk, I would have to ask my dad" I texted back. "Ok" And with that, we went back to paying attention to the teacher. After a while, recess came by. We once again grouped up and went outside. "So why did you ask if I have plans?"
"Because we sometimes go for a friend gathering"
