Close to the end of the day, as usual, we went to "gym." Ms. Wilma said that they were going to make a new category for humans. I was not the first, of course. But everyone was in their own group. I was kind of lonely. Not that I was not used to it. Like I said before, I was home schooled all my life, so my life was full of loneliness. But there was nothing to being in the human group. It was not as cool as the witches, practicing non-book spells. I felt uncool. Oh well, I am me, that is just who I am. I laughed at that thought. But seriously, I was the only human in this school, which is kind of weird to say, since the world is full of humans. But in the humans section, you just do sports and other athletic things. Nothing fancy. But than we left. "Hey Emma. Ask your dad if you can come over at my house. I will text you if he says yes." I said okay and we went our separate ways. I walked in and once again went to find my dad. "Dad! Are you home?" But this time, no answer. I text him. Still no answer. I called Patricia. "I can not find my dad."

"Has he ever done this before?"

"No." This worried me. Than I heard the door opened. I ran to the door. "Can I go over to Patricia's house?"

"Yeah, sure."

"Okay, thank you so much!" I ran to my bike. I text Patricia that he said yes and she texted me her address. I put it in my GPS and rode to her house. I rang the doorbell, and I almost laughed, because I heard her run to the door. "Hey Emma! Abigail, Rachel, Hailey and Catherine are already here." I walked in and was awed by their house. It was a really nice house. Patricia led me to her room, which was a pretty big room. Abigail and Catherine were sitting on the floor with blankets. "Where is William?"

"He is not coming..."

The way she said it was suspicious. I had to think about that. I did not worry about it. So we all sat down. Patricia got me a blanket and we all sat in a circle. They were all talking about something and than all of sudden they got serious and looked at me. This caught me by surprise. "Emma, do you know what imprinting is?"

This got me so confused. "No."

"Imprinting is when a werewolf, like William for instance, has a connection to someone, and even sees into their future, kind of. And...... William.... kind of..... imprinted on you."

"Wait, what?! Why me?!"

"Calm down! It just happens randomly! No body knows. It just happens."

I was so confused. Out of all people, why me. "Wait, that does not mean that he likes me, does it?"

"It might. I do not know. He has not told me, but it might."

I was so confused. This is the first I have ever heard of this kind of thing. I was in a panic. I have never had a boy like me, that is if he did. "So, let us play a game." Patricia got up and grabbed a game of Sorry. So we from then on enjoyed a sleep over and got the fact that William might like me out of my head. So we had fun, ate some snacks, played some more, and went to bed.
