Sleep was never a problem for me. However, over the time I didn't see Lucas I could barely sleep. Worries filled my head, about the relationship, about his health and just all about him. It was putting a lot of stress on me, unwanted stress too. I had my own job too, all this happened in under three months. We'd been talking over the phone but I still wanted to see him.
"Y/N! Come down please~" Jennie shouted up to me. I sighed and slipped on my slippers, ha you slip on slippers. The long winding staircase led straight to where Jennie was sitting. "Okay, you're here. We need to have a serious talk." She sighed and patted the seat beside her, I sat down and raised a brow.
"What's up Jennie?" Her hand rested on mine as she cleared her throat.
"Look Y/N, I'm worried about you. You aren't sleeping, you barely come out of your room! Lucas is ba-" My index finger raised to my lips signalling her to be quiet.
"Stop there, I don't want to hear it. Before I met him I never felt good enough, now I finally do." I explained, getting ready to go back to my room
"You are and always have been good enough, but I just don't think he's good enough for you!" she slightly raised her voice, startling me.
"Do you not want me to be happy?" I yelled, Jennie looked so shocked by this question but I couldn't control what was coming out of my mouth. "I don't understand why you're looking so shocked! I was there for you when you dated stupid boys who were terrible for you, guess who was there to pick you up after your break ups too? Yep! Me!" I stormed up the stairs and slammed my door causing a photo to smash to the floor. It was a photo of Jennie and I, it was when we went out to the theme park and went on the scariest ride. That was a good day. Suddenly, my phone rang. I glanced at the name, to my excitement it was Lucas.
"Hey Babe!" I greeted him
"Hi, I have great news!" He sounded happy, I felt like I knew what was coming
"Are you coming to England?" I asked excitedly
"I..um, not exactly. Soon, but not right now. Sorry princess." Ah, I was wrong.
"Oh, that's okay. So what is it?" Of course I missed him, and maybe I was lying when I said that's it's 'okay' but what was I supposed to say? 'No, it's not okay. Come to England now.' I would sound insane.
"NCT U are having a comeback!" He sounded even more ecstatic than before.
"That's great sweetie! Does that mean you'll be busier?" I questioned, hoping the answer would be no.
"Yeah, but we'll talk soon. I gotta go bye!" He hurried
"Oh okay, I love-" I began, he hung up. Wow, that's sad. I don't think I've ever felt more unloved in my life.
