The Finding

Your POV

"I know what Damien's going to do." Before Zane can continue, the ground starts to shake and dust starts to fall on us. "The building is collapsing, and this room was designed to be the last room standing. But we compromised the stability!"

Everyone huddles up close to each other and Lloyd creates an energy shield. The green dome glows as the building starts to collapse. Instinctively, you cover your head, like in all the earthquake drills you've done. Soon, the lights go out, and the green glow of Lloyd's powers is the only thing lighting the room up. The ground keeps shaking, and the room starts to fall apart. Cracks start forming where Cole and Zane made holes in the walls. The cracks travel up to the ceiling, and soon the ceiling starts cracking and falling apart. Debris falls on top of the dome, which makes everything more claustrophobic. How much longer until it stops? You stand there, waiting for it all to end, not expecting what comes next. Cracks start forming on the floor. This is a one story building, we can't fall down anywhere.

Right as you finish your thought, the floor cracks underneath you. The cracks widen, and before you know it, you're free falling. You scream as you fall. "[Y/N]!" you hear as you far, worried it'll be the last thing you hear.

Luckily, you only fall five feet or so. Still a large drop, but not enough to cause too much damage. You land on top of a sturdy table. You shakily jump off and crawl underneath it, covering your head and neck. "I'm fine guys!" you shout up at the Ninja, who are all still on the floor above you. You wait for everything to stop falling apart. After several minutes, things seem to have calmed down. Still, you stay under the table, just in case.

"What's down there, [Y/N]?" Cole asks.

You look around, something you haven't done yet, too preoccupied by the building falling apart. "There's a bunch of tables down here with a bunch of stuff on them! There's no door either, so I guess this was another room only Damien could get in!" you shout.

"What sort of stuff?" Kai asks.

"I dunno, lots of paper. I knocked some off when I fell down, so I can read some right now!" You gently shuffle to some paper nearby and scan them. "They look like notes on elemental masters! He was studying them for some reason!"

"Whatever is down there must be important! Unlike the top room, that room isn't listed on the layout of the building! Only Damien knew about it!" Zane informs.

"Zane, can we move?" you ask.

"You moving down there should be fine!" Zane answers.

You nod to yourself and cautiously crawl out from under the table. You look around more with the better angle. "There are some weird artifacts or something down here guys. I have no idea what they do!"

"We'll come down there, help you out!" Jay says.

"Wait! That room is barely structurally sound. If more than people were to be down there, that room would collapse too!" Zane interjects.

"Okay, so one of us will go down to help you, [Y/N]!" Lloyd decides.

"Any preferences?" Kai asks.

Sorry, it's short, but that's all that's needed in this chapter.
Now's the time you've been waiting for.
The next five chapters are the five endings. You choose what character goes to investigate with you, and you get to be all cute and romantic with that character.
Now, time for the bad news.
I was originally going to do a spin-off for each ending. But I've been slowly migrating away from this fandom. Like, I haven't really seen any new season past season 6? Is that the pirate one? I don't remember all the season numbers, sorry. I really like the story of the first six seasons, but now I've kind of migrated away. That's how fandom works sometimes; we come and go. So I don't really have the motivation for five other Ninjago books. Maybe they'll happen in the future, you never know. But for now, don't plan on it. Just be excited for the next five chapters.
