Sinbad had him locked up for more than a month. Everyone in the the kingdom of Sindria was busy to search for the General who was believed kidnapped by bandits. Sinbad was watching his assistant sleep in the bed. Scratches on the walls and bloody ankles were showing that he must have tried to escape all afternoon. This useless fight had exhausted him so much that the old assassin didn't even wake up...The King of Sindria took a chair which was against the wall and sat next to him to watch him sleep. He thinks, maybe he should give him his freedom? But if he did that, it wouldn't matter how much his general liked him, he would never stay with him. He would run away and Sinbad would never see him again. And that was unacceptable, it was better to keep him here, sheltered from the world and all the temptations it contained.

A month ago, The First Prince of the Kou Empire and King Sinbad had to meet for a possible declaration of peace. It had been more than a year since Ja'far and Sinbad started dating. Kouen's behavior during his stay had been unbearable for Sinbad. This man hadn't stopped eying up Ja'far, trying at every opportunity to seduce him. Ja'far was pleased, Sinbad saw it in the eyes of his lover. Despite all Ja'far's attempts to make him understand that there was nothing between him and Kouen and that there would never be anything,the jealousy of the king was too strong. When the Prince left, Sinbad didn't want Ja'far to leave him too so he spent his days watching Ja'far working or listening to conversations he had with others. The albino was aware of it, but he didn't do anything because Sinbad was the king and at least he was doing his work properly. Sinbad never became angry in front of Ja'far, but the violence his lover could show during their nocturnal acts and the fact that he had gradually forbidden the generals to speak to him began to worry the albino. Ja'far couldn't understand why he was so jealous. He loved Sindria and Sinbad more than anything in the world. Why would he destroy their love by deceiving him?

The more the days went by the more the atmosphere became heavy, the marks on his neck had become difficult to hide and Sinbad didn't even want to let him out !

The king had become even more paranoid, he was not only jealous but also terrified that Ja'far would die with no warning simply because Ja'far had fled to the city to buy new writing rolls. On the way back he was attacked by bandits and while he dealt with them expertly, the small scar his pale face suffered was enough for Sinbad to keep him inside permanently

He was trapped in the king's room, his captivity made him angry so he tried to escape his prison but Sinbad saw him and totally lost his mind. Ja'far had never see him like this and after a violent argument the king of the seven sea simply stunned him. When Ja'far woke up, he was in a new room he had never seen before.

Today he regrets believing that Sinbad would never hit him, if he had been able to anticipate Sinbad's violence then things would certainly be different ...

Sinbad had brought new chains for Ja'far. He had no choice but to put chains on his ankle because the albino was trying to run away every time. The ones he had tied to his feet seemed to hurt him too much and Sinbad wanted to protect Ja'far, not hurt him. He took advantage of the fact that Ja'far was still sleeping, exhausted by his last fight against the chains and the walls. The king wrapped his bruised ankles with a cloth and installed the new chains. His lover will certainly be happy to see how much he cares for him.

Ja'far opened his eyes he had never felt so bad. He did not know if this horrible pressure between his chest was due to the drugs that Sinbad gave him or if it was because he was passing his days locked in a room doing nothing but trying to flee. He felt lonely and empty, but he couldn't do anything, the king knew everything about him, the room and the chains had been specially designed so that he couldn't leave. Ja'far didn't know where this place was. It was certainly not in the palace because he would have known about it.The general swiveled to his left and a hand caressed his face. Sinbad. He jumped and positioned himself at the other side of the bed.
