Back in my Arms (Part 1)

Torn was getting worried that his future and that of her little sister are in jeopardy. Wayo, who is supposed to be his uncle Phana’s future wife, is getting closer and closer to his dad. While on the other hand, his mom is being chased now by an annoying freshmen jerk, god knows where that asshole new guy came from.

Even though Torn made a promise to her younger sister Belle not to meddle again with their parents’ life, he just can’t let the things that are happening now to continue on its own accord. He had to do something or else, they won’t be born into this world in the future.

Torn was counting the number of days left before they have to travel back to the future. He has until the start of next semester to bring Forth and Beam back together. He remembered that he set up the time machine to reactivate the wormhole one year after saving their father and give their mother his medication treatment.

Torn cross his fingers. Whatever it is that he is planning, he hoped it won’t make things more complicated than how they were. They had already altered the past when they saved their parents, what harm will it do if he messed it up some more? He called Belle to tell her his plan. Belle was furious over the phone but Torn was already decided. Belle simply can’t understand the way his brother’s brain work.

Forth came early to the multimedia arts building one Monday afternoon. All the previous contestants of last year’s competition including him and Phana were called. They were tasked to guide and collaborate with the new stars and moons.

When he entered the building, all the newbies were staring at him. He even heard some of the girls giggle on the side. It seems though that non from his previous batch have arrived yet.

In order to shy away from the crowd, he took off and went straight to the rooftop.

Forth called a trusted Sotus member over the phone.

“How was your investigation? Have you identified the person that was following Beam?”

“Not yet boss but we had witnesses who saw him when he was running away. According to them, the mystery guy was wearing an engineering uniform.”

Forth cut the line after hearing the update. He fisted his hand in anger and punched the wall hard. He did not even notice his knuckles got scraped and started to bleed. His worst fear has gotten true. Beam is getting involved again in his problems.
