Dance like nobody's watching
It's been several months since the events of the fall and the Zodiacs were back at school, finally adjusting back to normal life. Sagittarius still got nightmares, although these were more reliving the past than seeing the future. Cancer and Scorpio became more wary of swimming. Nye and Capricorn have a fear of fire. But they were peaceful again.
The day at school started like any other day. They had a new English teacher again. And this one wasn't a sociopath. Things gradually became normal. A type of it at least.
The zodiacs all hung out in English class as an announcement ran over the loud speaker.
"Due to some, uh, damage to the school that won't be fixed on time, the junior prom this year will be cancelled," the principal's voice rang through the school. Kids groaned in unison.
"This is insane! I've already bought my dress!" Cancer groaned.
"Phoenix just managed to ask me out too! This is garbage!" Pisces agreed.
"What do we do?" Scorpio asked.
Virgo stared at Cancer for a while. Cancer had refused to show Virgo the dress because Cancer wanted it to be a surprise. Virgo was not going to let it go that easily.
"We throw our own," Virgo decided. "A Zodiac prom."
"We don't have the decorations, the time, or a spot," Taurus criticized. "We won't be able too."
"We can do it in the woods, what's left of it," Nye volunteered the idea.
"And I can help with the food," Capricorn said. Everyone looked at him with confusion. "What? I make a mean pasta salad."
"I'll help." Scorpio happily volunteered.
"Yeah, um, I don't think you should," Cancer shot him down.
"We've got til tomorrow night. I'll grab the decorations," Libra decided.
"The rest of us can go wherever we're needed," Sagittarius decided.

Pisces chases Phoenix down the halls in attempt to grab his attention, slipping and sliding through other students as she did so. "Phoenix! Back here!"
"Pisces, hey. What's up?" Phoenix asked her, making his way toward her.
"We still on for prom tomorrow night?" Pisces curiously asked.
"It was cancelled, remember?" Phoenix raised an eyebrow at her.
Pisces smirked mischievously. "The school one is, but not the Zodiac one."
"You guys are throwing a prom?" He asked.
"Yeah. Be my date?" Pisces grinned at him.
Phoenix sighed. "I spent all that time trying to ask you out to prom only for you to ask me out again."
"Is that a yes?"
Phoenix let out a chuckle. "Yes."

Taurus and Aquarius were hanging out in the woods. They were going to help Libra and whoever else set up the decorations. They'd already brought a table in with some chairs.
"Sooooo...." Aquarius awkwardly said. "Will you be my prom date?"
"You're so lame." Taurus laughed. "But of course I will."
Aquarius have her a goofy smile as Libra walked into the clearing. "Hey, Libby. What's up?"
"I've gotten the decorations. Also, would your sister mind doing my makeup?" Libra asked, aggressively taking out the decorations.
