Marinette P.O.V.
Mr. Agrete, well actually he asked me to call him Adrien, so I guess Adrien was sitting at his desk when his assistant entered the room, I think her name was Nathalie. This is my 4th day as Adrien's intern and it's gone pretty smoothly, I'm still learning my way around things but everything is fine.
"What's the schedule for today Nathalie?" Adrien asked. Yes! I was right her name was Nathalie.
"Well, tomorrow you have a dinner party so you can connect with other businesses so things will go smoothly if you ever decide to work with other companies in the future. So you and Marinette will start planning the party today and make sure you finish everything on this list for the party." Nathalie said bluntly.
"Okay," Adrien says and takes the list. He walks over to my desk, I assume to show me the list as well. "So, are you ready?" He asks.
"For what?" I ask
"For your first fancy dinner party! Obviously, these things can get pretty intense," Adrien says with a wink after.
"O-oh, yeah I guess," I mumble. Can they really get that intense? I start to think about a bunch of rich people having a giant food fight.
"I'm kidding," he says with a laugh, I guess he noticed my facial expression and thought I believed him. Geez, he scared me.
"Adrikins!" Someone says outside of the door. "Can I come in?" She asks. Hmm, her voice sounds familiar.
"Uh, yeah sure," Adrien says.
The girl opens the door and jumps onto Adrien, I didn't get a chance to see her face because she entered so quickly. But I did see a blonde ponytail and now it's all coming together.
"Chloe?!" I asked in shock. Oh please don't be her, please don't her! I'll do anything! Just don't be Chloe!
"Ugh, what's the baker girl doing here?" Possible Chloe scoffed.
"Um, do you two know each other?" Adrien asked. We both nodded. "Oh, well, um. This is Marinette, my new intern and this is Chloe, my wife." Adrien explained. My heart tightened at his last three words.
I can't believe someone agreed to marry Chloe.
Suddenly Chloe's eyes became friendlier, "Ah she's the new intern! Well, that's fabulous! Marinette and I were just the best of friends! Right?" She asks, looking at me with an evil yet friendly glare. How does she do that?
"Um, sure," I say. Maybe I should give Chloe a chance, who knows maybe she changed!
"Well, Marinette and I have to get started organizing this dinner party, so see you later Chloe," Adrien says, wow I'm impressed that someone can be so nice to Chloe.
"What are you talking about Adrikins! I'm going to stay today, I won't bother you I'll just watch you do your job! Oh! It's like bring your wife to work day! How fun!" Chloe excitedly says and sprints over to Adrien's desk and sits on his chair.
"O-okay," Adrien muttered. Well, this is gonna be a long day.
Chloe P.O.V.
No way am I letting the baker girl hang out with my Adrikins all day. In fact, I don't want her hanging out with him at all. And I know exactly how to accomplish that goal: get baker girl fired.
"Well, um, I guess first we should send out the invites," Adrikins says.
"Okay, Adrikins!" I say cheerfully and quickly run over to Nathalie. "So what are they going to do?" I whisper.
"I'll give them the list of possible business partners or sponsors and then they will pick which ones they want to invite," Nathalie says rather loudly.
