Sam's POV

Lilian and I ran outside, Dean was already there.
"Where's Castiel?" I asked. Dean opened the door to the backseat. Castiel was laying sideways with his leg outstretched on the seat next to his. His eye was bruised up, along with tons of little cuts peppered around his face. Lilian's face looked like a mix between horror and confusion. It seemed like she couldn't decide what to do, her mouth kept opening and closing, like she didn't know what to say. Dean and I picked up Castiel and brought him inside. When he was sitting on the bed, as comfortable as he could get. We started talking.
"What happened?" Man was I full of questions.
"Demon attack. They're gone now." Cas said simply. Lilian was still staring down at Castiel's leg. Poor thing might be remembering bad memories, we're still not sure how stable she is.
"Come on Dean, lets go get the med kit."

Lilian's POV

Castiel was hurting, I could tell. It was the way he hid his eyes and fidgeted his hands. I finally decided I would ask him.
"How?" He looked at me.
"What do you mean?" I was fidgeting now.
"How did you get hurt?" He was studying my face.
"You don't have to be afraid to ask that, okay?" I nodded in response.
"A bunch of bad people were teaming up on me and they hurt my leg." I saw a small drop of blood fall down the other side of his thigh. Before I even knew what I was doing, I was down on my knees looking at it. I slowly reached out a hand and touched the part of his thigh that wasn't bleeding, I felt, sad. I've seen cuts like this before, believe me. But the experience of seeing that happen to someone else is completely different. Definitely Castiel, he was special. A tear fell. Looking at his legs, I realized vines of all shapes and sizes had wrapped around his cut, acting as a bandage. I started feeling scared instead of sad, and the vines retreated, back under the floorboards. I looked at Cas. He was giving me a surprised look.
"Lilian?" His voice was what pulled the vines out of my head. I could feel the fear surrounding me, kicking myself away from the bed and away from Cas, so then I had my back against the wall. I cried familiar tears, those of fear.
"Lilian, I'm not going to hurt you." Castiel was in front of me.
"Please don't cry, the vines didn't hurt." I was still crying, but I looked up at him. His black eye had disappeared. That should have not been possible. Along with his cuts. I cried harder.
"What is going on?" I asked, it wasn't aimed towards either of us.
"What was that? Why did it do that?" I was sobbing.
"Lilian, calm down. It's okay, maybe it was a friend." I then felt myself get warmer.
"This always happens around me, am I cursed?" I bawled. My tears slowly subsided, along with my sobbing.
"What am I?" I whispered. Castiel hadn't taken his gaze off me.
"You are caring." I don't know what that is, but he said it like a complement. So I think that good.

Sam's POV

Me and Dean walked in to the room to find Lilian being comforted be Castiel. Who was completely healed.
"Cas?" Dean asked for an explanation.
"Long story. I tell you later."

"I'm sorry, what?" Dean looked at him in disbelief.
"Vines came out of the floor, and healed my wounds." I turned to Castiel.
"How?" He shrugged.
"I do not know, but Lilian had quite the reaction to them."
"As in?" Dean pressed.
"Bursting into tears and having a crisis." Deans eyes went a little bigger as he nodded his head.
"Okay."
"But I still don't understand, why vines?" Castiel tilted his head.
"What?"
"Why did vines heal you, of all the things?" Cas gave me that "I thought you knew" face.
"I believe it has something to do with all those dreams you've been having. Flowers, the garden." We both gave him a confused look. He sighed.
"Think about it." Well in fact I did. And that would make total sense. But, why would Lilian have that kind of reaction? That, I will have to look into.
