Sam's POV
It was morning, Dean and I were making breakfast. Salad for me, bacon and eggs for Dean, and just eggs for Lilian. Last night we had found that Lilian apparently loves eggs. She ended up eating a lot more than usual. I found it interesting, she knows she can eat eggs, but why not other things? Like pancakes, or chocolate?
I brought out Lilian's food and set it on the table.
"Lilian?" I called, not to loud as to scare her. Lilian peaked her head around the corner.
"Your foods ready." She nodded and sat down at the table. After rolling up the long sleeves of my shirt, she started eating. Oh goodness, she ate like Dean when she wanted to. Needless to say she was finished in a couple minutes.
"If you want to you can put your plate in the sink." Dean said. Following his order Lilian got up and placed the plate in the sink, trying not to make it very loud. I could tell, there was something wrong. So I got up and followed her.
"Hey you okay?" She nodded. I could tell she was lying. Suddenly there was a loud crash.
"Dean?" I called.
"Just a broken plate." He said, I had already ran into the room. Reflex. I started helping him clean up the pieces. Then, while I was throwing them away, a chilling realization fell over me. It was quiet, way to quiet. Running to the other room I looked around, at first, it had seemed like Lilian had disappeared altogether, then I heard a almost silent sob coming from the corner of the room. She was trying to cover as much of her body as possible. And her face, the part that I could see, was already stained with tears.
"Lilian!"Lilian's POV
It crashed, as soon as it broken I had been transported to the house.
"That's it you runt!" He yelled. Oh no. No not this please. Around the corner he came, holding it. That thing he hurt me with. Over and over and over. Nothing could stop him now. Everything was everywhere. It felt as if my world was collapsing in again. Then can that horrible cracking sound. I didn't dare speak. That would only hurt more.
"You're such a coward." He bellowed before hitting me, again and again and again. Why? Why does this always happen?
"Lilian?" There was a distant voice, it sounded, different. It almost slowed my breathing. Almost.
"Lilian? Can you hear me?" Oh, how hypnotic it sounds. It seems like it's pulling me away from, something, no, away from him.
"Lilian please!" Wait... Sam!It was if the world hit me all at once. First it was Sam, then it was the tears as they streamed down my face, followed by my sight. That's weird, when was I in the corner? Suddenly I remembered, the plate. That's why they're going to hurt me. I kicked myself as far into the corner as I could. Sam looked almost panicked at this.
"Lilian no, I'm not going to hurt you!" He rushed. "He could be lying." I thought. "Just like mommy ." No. He's not the mommy.
"Please, believe me." He said. He looked lost, hurt and... scared. I've seen many emotions on Sam's face, fear? Never in our short new-found relationship. This scared me even more. Of all things, what could he be scared about? I was shaking. It felt as if someone had shot an imaginary arrow through my heart.
"Lilian..." He whispered this, it was soft and, kind. I've almost never used that word in my life. I read it in a dictionary once, that a maid left in my room. I think it describes this emotion. Well somewhere in the middle of all this commotion, my heart turned almost silent, just a beat every couple of moments. How did Sam do that? Did he, take over my mind? He moved slowly and I did nothing to stop him. "Hey, you're okay." He placed his hand on my shoulder. It wasn't as rough as I thought it would be. It was a kind gesture, there's that word again. I didn't move. So he moved me. Sam pulled me away from the corner and pulled me into his lap, wrapping his arms around me. Warmth enveloped me as he held me. I'm not the one to "hug", but I buried my face in his neck.
"I'm sorry." I whispered. He smiled, the skin around his eyes crinkling.
"You don't have to be."Sam, Cas and Dean have left, leaving me at the hotel alone. I didn't quite know why, but I guessed they were going to help people. It almost hurt how alone I felt, and how familiar it was. Suddenly, there was a sound. I ran into the living room, a window was shattered and a girl stood next to it.
"Oh what a shame." Her voice was smooth, and boiling.
"I really didn't want to have to break any windows today." I was frozen as her gaze fell upon me.
"Oh my! I'm sorry. Hello!" It was as if she couldn't decide on a emotion.
"Hello?" I asked.
"I'm Emily!" The woman said.
"It is very nice to meet you." She then, in one swift movement, brought herself to sit upon the sofa.
"Now, may I ask why you are inside on such a day like this?" I pulled my arms to my chest.
"Sam and Dean say I can't go out cause' it's dangerous." At this the curious girl smiled.
"And why do you follow what they tell you to?" I tilted my head.
"Because I don't want to get in trouble." Emily rolled her eyes.
"Oh please, they're not the boss of you." She said.
"I think we should go out! I'll come with you." "I don't think that's such a good idea..."
"It'll be fun!" It hit me.
"Who are you?"
"I told you, I'm Emily!"
"Can I trust you?"
"Of course!" This wasn't going to go well.
"I can't go out." 'Emily' gave me a bored expression.
"Do you really want to do this?" She asked.
Before I could respond, she had jumped off the couch and locked my mouth shut.
"I'm sorry but the Winchester's like you. And we need a bargaining chip." She was pulling a cloth out of her jacket.
"Besides," She forced the cloth over my mouth, and I watched as her evil smirk started to fade.
"It's so easy to disappear."
