"A big talk"

"Hopefully I can get that video edited by sundown. It was a pretty long video we recorded together." said Brandon, sitting at his computer. The couch was right next to where he was sitting at his desk. You were lounging on the couch, deep in your own thoughts. A thought crossed your mind and your entire mood, and look changed. You twiddled your thumbs and looked down at them, maybe even picking at your nails.

"Hey, you ok dear?" he asked. He must have been talking for a while because he had that certain look to him. He turned around in his chair to face you, took off his glasses, and leaned forward, wanting to hear what you had to say. You looked up once you saw and heard him lean forward in his leather swing chair. He linked his hands together and you both locked eyes. "C'mon, something's on your mind." he said, still making eye contact with you.

It took you a while to look up, and when you did, you asked one simple question...

"Do...do you want kids?"

He had the biggest smile on his face, but was also worried about what to say to you too. "I think it'd be wonderful to have kids sometime in the later future." You both smiled at eachother, and you wiped a tear from your eye. "Good. We can talk more about this later."
