"Seokjin, you haven't meant that you are possibly referring.... You know something? But your eyes are telling a different story. What is it? Tell me." Hoseok urged, crossing his arms.

"I was the supposed next king of Busan." Seokjin said calmly, looking at his lover firmly and swallowed the limp in his throat. Silence engulfed the five completely and astonishment washed over them like a wave hugging the coast.

"You're—Joking, right?" Jungkook gulped, his tone trembled and laced with concern. The picture of Shin Han Sol drifting a knife on his chin repeated and those very words haunted him.

Kim Seok Jin, the supposed next king of Busan was Shin Han Sol's son.

"No I'm not." The older said, flatly, noticing Jungkook's face pale, his eyes had a look of concern and his hands had gone frozen white. "Jungkook, I'm not letting you get hurt or anyone." Seokjin reassured, grasping his hand lightly and smiled a gentle smile.

"Okay, so we know the rose in Busan must be protected at all cost, but exactly how are we gonna get pass the guards guarding the back gates? I mean we can swim...."

"You will get beheaded." Taehyung proclaimed, his brown eyes sharp, hand tightening into a fist as he gulped. Sweat beads slithered across his now pale face, eyes wide as he felt something crawling up his back. He couldn't even breath as he had sucked in oxygen, trying to stay still.

Jungkook, Hoseok, and Seokjin's eyes widen in complete astonishment. "Taehyung ah, don't look back or even move an inch, okay? I'll quickly get that creature off you somehow, so, please trust me on this and do what I say." Jungkook walked towards Taehyung, whispering comforting words to himself, pulling out his sword and pierced it throw the golden, silky creature with eight legs.

"Run."

"Why?"

"Damnit, Kim Taehyung. I said run! RUN!" Jungkook yelled, dragging Taehyung and ran through the streets along with Hoseok and Seokjin as spiders crawled in their direction.

Banana spiders.

The four started yelling, their breathing raged as they shouted randomly, hoping to comfort themselves either way; shouting or just shouting and running. Both usually helps anyways.

"KIM TAEHYUNG!" Jungkook shouted, gripping his hand tighter around the older's. His knees moved up quickly and legs worked like a cheetah's, eyes darting forward and over his shoulder to make sure the rest were catching up.

"JEON JUNGKOOK!" Taehyung shouted, tears streaming down his fast, chest heaving. Everything felt as if the world had become in ruins, no one alive. Just him, Jungkook, Hoseok, Yoongi, and Seokjin. His eyes were so glossy that running was difficult as he couldn't see where he was going. He trusted Jungkook, knowing the younger's smarter, quicker, and more skilled than him.

Taehyung, Jungkook, and Yongi were trained to stay by Hoseok's side, in his missions, parties, or wherever he went.

They were supposed to stay with each other, holding each other's hand no matter what. It was their promise to never forget since day one.

...

PAST

It was just another training session day for Taehyung. He slipped his forest green gloves on his hands, wrapping the rope around his waist and tightened it. His jaw clenched, eyes darted above him, examining the rocky wall. He took slow, steady breathes, exhaling, and walked closer to the wall. His hands extended out, intending to grab on the climbing hold when a lean, muscular figure slid down, grasping on the rope firmly.

He had those deep brown eyes that could get you lost in them. His dark chocolate hair had disheveled partway, forehead revealing.

And when his face turned, jawline, strong, perfect like Hoseok's almost. But those veins flowing on his red hand due to extreme grip on the rope, his knuckles became white and his face was of bunny solider; two buck teeth shining as his mouth opened, sighing of accomplishment.

"What are you looking at, kitty?" Jungkook held his head up, raising his eyebrow and took steps forward till the younger brown haired man took steps back, his back hitting against the rock wall.

He looked at the darker haired man innocently and then closed his eyes as the other leaned, lips nearly touching his ear, "I'm not surprised you're Hoseok ssi's bodyguard." He snaked his hand around Taehyung's waist, loosening the rope and sneaked his hand inside his jean's pocket, throwing a small ball of paper.

He pulled away, walking through the corridors upon hearing Hoseok's father announcement from the megaphone.

"Don't be afraid of your weakness, it only weakens your heart of courage. Be the eagle even if it's called bald eagle, it doesn't mean it's necessarily bald. The bald eagle is bold, mighty, precise, and wise. He knows and he's not afraid."

Jungkook said, looking over his shoulder and chuckled seeing Taehyung's jaw slightly dropped open, eyes open in shock.

And Jungkook left Taehyung surprised. The older slid his hand in the jean's pocket, seizing the ball of paper in his hands, taking it out and unfolded it. He laughed under his breath, feeling warmth ignite his face brighter than the sun.

Do brave and wise, but, not ignorant and un-patient like nobles who think they're high worthy

The letter said.

Taehyung couldn't ever forget that very quote Jungkook wrote to him. But the words after that, he felt as if the letter was more of a love letter even if it was nerdy. Yet, he didn't think Jungkook was nerdy. It said....

You're merely any better than me, but, I've seen you fight. And right now, you're fighting with my heart. Should I break you or let you kill me with your gentle, soft, killing actions. You don't know how much your attacking me rather than physically.

You're a cat, a mighty cat called tiger. And if you well, let me slay you like a dragon, I think my bruises will vanish. So, what do you say? Be mine, Kim Taehyung?

Within those matter of seconds, Taehyung's face had erupted of heat engulfing him. He had fell backwards, hitting his back against the hard marbled floor, grinning wide. His brown eyes were shining, he whispered, "I think I'd like that, Jeon Jungkook."

He didn't care if Jungkook didn't hear him because for a man like Jungkook, he knew the younger was damn sure of Taehyung's reply. It was already written all over his face anyway.

Jungkook was sitting on a chair, elbows propped up on the table, sitting in the cafeteria. He smiled to himself, picturing Taehyung's astonished face. He breathed out a laugh, eyes twinkling, "What can I get you Jungkook?" The cafeteria lady worker cracked a smile.

"I'd like some Tea, with three spoon of sugar."

"But you never asked for sugar?"

"Let's just say today is a very special day." Jungkook grinned.

He whispered under his breath, "I don't think I need tea, rather I need Tae." And with that he chuckled, shaking his head, head tilting back up. He grinned as his eyes met the familiar sweet, honest, sparkling chocolate ones.

Taehyung grinned back, but covered his face partway with hands in embarrassment.

"Don't shy away from me because I'll make you red like this always." Jungkook chuckled.
