I didn't sleep last night, I just couldn't. Now that I knew Jackson is here, he probably knew everything.
But if he did he would've left something in my apartment, it's usually rose petals at my bed - something I used to think was romantic - but when I got back home there was nothing.

This got me thinking; What if he's trying to be inconspicuous? Will he keep showing up at the coffee shop? Why is he really here?

I could answer the first two myself. If he was trying to hide the fact he was in America and knew where I was then he wouldn't have shown up at the coffee shop which means he doesn't know where I live... yet.

He never eats at the same place two times in a row, he doesn't risk getting recognised.
I'm safe, maybe, but there has to be a reason he's here and it's not because he loves me, there has to be another reason...

I try to think of what is is while making a cup of tea but I look to the time.

Twelve o'clock.
Friday.
Shit!
I promised the boys I would teach them English!

I hurriedly grab a pencil case and a drink bottle and head down, knowing that languages take a while to learn.

I run down stairs and knock on the door and it opens nearly immediately to Hoseok, his smile already making the world brighter.

"Y/n!" he says happily as he drags me into the room.
"She's here, everyone!"

I hear the thunder of feet storm down the hall leasing to the bedrooms.
They must share, there's so many of them!
Taehyung instantly comes up to me and hugs me, followed by the two other maknaes.

"So, should we get the lesson started? Hi by the way, Jagi." Namjoon says, he's like a man on a mission.
He must really wants these boys to know English, I wonder why...

Jin and Namjoon are on the couch watching the news while Yoongi appears to be asleep on the recliner.

The news starts playing something about gangs again and Jackson reemerges in my mind, his sickening grin, his hold on me, his blank face when he left me to bleed out and die.

The news lady -same pretty face and perfect blonde hair- is telling us that the police believe there might be a gang war and to be cautious.
The police are working on ways to stop them but if I know anything from when I was in Jackson, the police don't really care.
Some of them were even clients, buying drugs and weaponry.

I feel a tension sweep through the room, one that really scares me and I have to think to myself; what if these boys are part of a gang?

I shake it off when I see Jungkook cleaning up the table like an obedient son and Jimin's naturally puffy cheeks. There is no way these boys are capable of being murderers.

Once the table is clear I set out pieces of paper for everyone and give each one of the boys a pre-sharpened pencil, an eraser and a sharpener.

"Now, " I say in English.
"What I want you to do is rate how good you are at speaking English out of ten on the top of the sheet along with your name, in English, of course."

They all obey and look at me repeatedly when they finished.
"Now, I want you to write down a conversation in English, nothing fancy, just the simple: 'Hello' 'How are you' 'I'm fine, and you?' things like that. Write all of it down the page and make the conversation as long as you can. We will go through them with a partner later."

The boys nod and get to work, quiet as if it's a test. I occasionally see them trying to look at Namjoon's work but he hunches over it.
"Do your own work, she is here to teach you how to understand English, not how to cheat!"
