I wave to Manon as I walk into the cafe with Jin, who takes a seat near the window and she pulls me in for a hug before going to get Jin's order.

I knock on the door to Marionette's office before hearing her call for me to enter.

"Good morning. How are you?"
She looks tired and I become worried.
"Is there anything you need help with?"

She looks up to me and gives me a tired smile.
"Y/n, beautiful girl. I need help with all this paper work. It's bad enough it's in English, it's worse when there's so much of it! America takes this stuff so seriously! Could you help me dear? Just for a few minutes. Rush starts in thirty minutes, could you spare the time?"

I smile and nod pulling the chair from the front of her desk around to sit next to her.
"Now." she says, ready to learn. "What the fuck is all this?"

After thirty minutes I've managed to help guide Marionette so that most of her work is finished.
When I exist her office, Jin is reading a newspaper patiently.

I see the finished coffee cup on his table and go to pick it up.
"Hey." I say politely.

He looks up at me, looking totally cute wearing large, round, gold rimmed glasses.
He does a fancy hand flick to push them up.

"Hello, princess. I noticed you disappeared. What were you doing?"
His voice is soft, but firm.
I technically didn't break rule four, but I came kind of close to it.

"I was just helping put my employer in her office. She needed help and who am I to deny that?"
I smile to show him that what I did was innocent.

He nods.
"Next time, tell me when you plan on being helpful. I need to know."

I smile to show I understand and go back to clean the cups.

A few minutes later, it's packed and Manon and I can't catch a break.
Everyone starts to blend in and I nearly hand someone the wrong order.
Manon, however, is light on her feet, nodding and smiling. She's not speaking much but that's okay.

We work for a while longer, but Jin comes up to the counter after a group of teenage girls gave over complicated orders.

"We got to go."
His voice is calm, but has a slight frantic undertone.
Now I'm worried.

I nod, untying my apron and knocking on Marionette's office door.

"Come in!" I hear her call and I feel guilty for having to leave early. I know how much this shop means to them, they need me here.

I enter and stand awkwardly.
"I'm sorry, Mari, but I have to go, there is a problem I have to take care of..."

She is the nicest most understanding person in the world. She has to be, or she wouldn't of looked up at me with a smile like no other -one that makes you feel like you can do no wrong and she loves you unconditionally- and let you leave work on the busiest hour.

"Thank you so much! Tell me if you ever need anything, you have my number, just call!" I say as I exit her office and she waves.
I hang up my apron, give Manon a quick hug goodbye and run out to see Jin waving down a taxi.
I get in and we start heading off, but we don't go home.

The address Jin gave the driver wasn't to our apartment, it was to a fancy building just outside the city, our house being way over on the other side.
I look at Jin confused but he just looks ahead or out the window. When we arrive and gets out of the car he turns to me.

"Y/n, you can't lie to me. I know you're hidding something. Two things, actually. I know that one has something to do with your little brother but I don't have a clue about the other one. Namjoon is pissed at you but I'll try to help as much as I can. I don't know the full story yet, but you have some serious explaining to do."

Now I'm worried, confused and scared. Namjoon is a very patient man, you could insult him all day and he could prove you wrong in a matter of minutes, so the fact that I've pissed him off could be catastrophic.

I take a deep breath in and out, but it's shaky. Jin must've noticed because he takes my hand in his and gives it a slight squeeze of reasurence and I feel a little bit of fear subside.
A small silver lining is still a silver lining.

We walk into the building and the woman -young, skinny, hair in an extremely tight bun, sleek- looks up and sees Jin. She smiles and gives him a nod of 'hello' not acknowledging me at all.
I'm OK with that.

He leads me to an elevator, hand still holding mine. He looks down at me and smiles.
"This is where we work. This is our building. Every mafia has one and this is were we go to do paperwork and have meetings, y'know, boring stuff."

I give a slight chuckle and his smile widens.
"Hey, wanna hear a joke?"

I don't say anything, I'm still scared but I nod.
"What do you call a singing cow?"

I pull my eyebrows in and tilt my head, universal language for 'I don't know, what?'.

He can bearly contain his laughter as he says: 'a lawyer!'.
We both burst out laughing and the doors to the elevator open to show a long hallway with what seem to be offices inside.

We head to the one at the end, giggling slightly.
Jin knocks on the door, but doesn't bother waiting or a answer.

He walks in first and when I follow, I take in the room. It's very luxurious with a large mahogany desk and classy grey-blue walls along with sophisticated lether couches with the boys are now sitting on.

Except Namjoon who is sitting on a chair that looks to be a recliner.
He is sitting with his right leg resting on his left and his hands clasped together, his index fingers resting on his lips. He is wearing a suit, grey, with a white button up underneath.
He looks like he could buy me.

He's face is calm, but the aura he gives makes me scared. He's pissed. Not angry, pissed.

He looks down at mine and Jin's hands, still holding one another and I let go.
Namjoon motions for me to sit, so I take a place in a seat beside Hoseok.

"Do you know who Jackson Wang is, Y/n?" Namjoon speaks, his voice cold and dark.
When he says his name I look up and there must be fear in my eyes because I can feel Jin's need to hold my hand again.
Or maybe that's just me wishing he would.

Namjoon takes this as his cue to continue.
"He is the leader of a very powerful gang. A very large gang. Can you tell us where he is right now?"

I lower my head submissivly to show that I both don't know and am willing to take due punishment.

"He is currently in America. Looking for a one, Y/n L/n, who has been seen hanging around the members of a strong gang called Bangtan Sonyeondan. Can you guess why this might be a problem?"
The venom in his voice is clear and I bite my lip nervously and look up at him, trying to tell him with my eyes that I never meant to hurt him.

I see a flicker of mercy in his eyes before he turns back to stone, unfolding his legs to rest his elbows on them, leaning closer to me.
I feel Hoseok move closer to me, as if protecting me.

"His gang, G7, has declared war on us because he is convinced that we are keeping you for ourselves. He was quite the gentleman about it really," he says, leaning back in his chair, playing with a small two dollar coin. "He came here asking for you. He said we could either hand you over, or go to war..."

I look up at him, confused.
But, you already said you were going to war with him. Does that mean...

"Yes, we are protecting you. You are one of us now. Family. Plus, I believe you are useful. Especially right now, you know their gang best, you can give us info we wouldn't usually have access to. So my question to you, Y/n, is..." he pauses, smirking slightly. "Are you ready to go to war with your ex?"
