autumn's p.o.v

"Autumn, make sure you clean the house since you do not have school today!" my mom yells before shutting the front door to go to work. i sigh before getting up to start cleaning.

after like thirty minutes of cleaning i get distracted by my phone and sit on the couch while scrolling through twitter when my phone dinged.

unknown: hey daniel make sure you're up and ready to go when i get there.

me: hey i don't know who daniel is, you definitely have the wrong number.

unknown: sorry about that,
i typed the number
instead of going to his number.

me: it's alright, haha.
you have a great day too!

i get off of my phone after that weird encounter so i can actually finish cleaning. i put some why don't we on, and just jam along and clean. when i finally finished with all that tiring cleaning i took my phone and decided to text my best friend maggie.

me: so guess what just happened

mags: what?

me: someone messaged me randomly telling some daniel to be
ready when they get there

mags: omg do you think they're talking to
daniel seavey?

me: i 100% doubt that but
i can text this person
and ask them they're name just for you

mags: oh please do.

i open the text messages with the stranger to do exactly what maggie wanted me to do.

me: so i never got your name.

unknown: sorry didn't realized you would want it, since i'm just a random stranger

me: oh you don't have to tell me if you don't want to lol.

unknown: just because you want to know so badly, my name is jack.

me: avery?

jack: no johnson.

me: oh darn. i was hoping you were someone else.

jack: sorry i'm such a disappointment to you.

since you got my name, whats yours?

me: oh sorry i didn't mean it like that lol, but it's autumn.

jack: well autumn it was very nice chatting with you but, i have to go to work now.

me: and what is it that you do?

jack: sorry i gotta go.
