chapter six

autumn's p.o.v

       "guys wasn't he the most beautiful person you've ever seen?" i say while looking back at jack. "okay but, did you see daniel? i don't know, he can hit me up any day." maggie says shrugging her shoulders. "you guys are so obsessed it hurts me." connor says while sighing. "okay but, did you guys see how cool i played it back there? i was as smooth as butter" i laugh. "uh what were you listening to because you sounded insane." connor laugh. "well, you're rude." i said while rolling my eyes.

as we were walking in the arena, i was getting a little nervous, i couldn't tell you why but, i was also just so excited to see the boys i just met. i take out my phone to message jack about what happened with jack avery.

me: omg so the craziest thing
just happened.
i have to tell you about it.

me: i'll tell ya later though
they're coming out now.

when the boys come out, all i could look at was jack. i mean, how could i not? i see him scanning the audience like he's looking for someone, i just wish he was looking for me.

for the rest of the concert, i was just jamming along. it felt amazing to get to hear them live and see their faces, i was just i awe of how beautiful they were. half of me never wanted this night to end but,  the other half wanted to go home to tell jack all about this amazing unforgettable night.  after they leave the stage, we get ready to leave everyone crowding to get out of the arena. "this is literally the worst part about going to a concert" connor says sounding annoyed. "that's true. the boys have it so easy" i laugh.

"okay but, wow" maggie says as we get in the car. "that was pretty amazing, i'm really shook." i say. "yeah i'm actually pretty impressed with it, i enjoyed tonight." connor adds "but can we talk about 'words i didn't say' that clearly was the best song." "uhhh hold up but, the whole set list was amazing." maggie cuts me off. "can we talk about how they said they'd do the mashup but never did? i'm so mad" connor rolls his eyes.

the rest of the way home was just talk of why don't we and just random conversations then, my phone dinged and i hoped that it was who i wanted it to be. "so am i dropping you guys off at home or do you want to come over?" i ask connor and maggie. "i say we have a sleepover" maggie shrugs. "yeah i'll come over." connor agrees. when we finally arrive at my house, we all just go and crash on my bed.

"tonight was a wild night and i'm pooped" connor says while yawning. "guys he messaged me again." i say looking at my phone. "well read it!" maggie's yells jumping on the bed next to me.

jack: oh really? tell
me all about it!

me: oh lord well jack
and i accidentally kissed
let me tell you that. my heart is still in shock.

jack: read 12:52 am

      "well that's my cue to go to sleep, goodnight guys." i say covering my head. "goodnight." connor and maggie say in sync. with that we all fell asleep, not knowing what tomorrow would have in store for me.
