chapter four

autumn's p.o.v

"autumn! wake up!" my mom says walking into my room. "10 more minutes." i say turning over into my bed. "i guess you don't want to go see why don't we then." she says and i hop right up. "okay okay i'm up. what do you need?" "i just wanted you up. also fix yourself you look a hot mess and if you're trying to get jack avery to notice you that's not the way to go." she laughs and walks out of my room. i sigh and i got up deciding that it was time to start getting ready. after i took a shower i decided that i should text jack.

me: currently getting ready for the concert. can't wait to get there
and see all their beautiful faces.

jack: who's your favorite member anyways?

me: i mean i love them all the same but,
if i did have to chose one of
the boys definitely be jack.
no offense to the other
boys but they're not reading
these so we're fine.

jack:oh yeah i mean jack is a really great looking guy.

me: that is very true.

jack: well i should be going. i'll message you throughout the day

just remember to keep me updated ;)

me: definitely will do :)

as i finished getting ready i got a text from connor asking when i'll be on my way and not to forget his charger. i grabbed his charger told my mom that i was leaving and went to pick connor and maggie up. "guys, i'm not okay" maggie says "like i don't think i can do it." "you need to not just act normal, you need to stay calm when we're near them." i tell maggie "yeah mags, daniel won't want to hit you up if you're crazy" connor adds. "okay okay i'm done freaking out. maybe."

when we finally got there which felt like forever we started heading to where we go if we got limelights. "we're like this close guys" i say very excitedly. "don't freak out autumn" maggie says mocking me. when we were in the line waiting i decided to text jack again.

me: dude we're in line right now.
i'm like so close to jack avery.

"who are you texting?" connor asks being nosey. "my friend." i responded. "you don't have any friends." maggie says laughing. "well that was rude. either way he has yet to answer."

me: we're at the front of the line.
me: dude we're walking to them
right now.

as i sent that text i heard one of their phones ding what a coincidence. "hi omg" i say not knowing what to say "you're all gorgeous human beings, wow" "that's very chill, autumn" when connor says my name jack popped his head up. "so i mean, we should probably take the picture now." jack says smiling "hey jack, could you like kiss my cheek for the picture? it'd make my life." i say to him. "of course" he says leaning down to do so.
