I woke up to Allan already awake, he was just staring at me.
"What are you looking at?" I asked, with a raised eyebrow.
"You." He smiled.
"Why?"
"Becuase I have nothing else to do, I can't move."
"Why not?" I asked, compleatly confused.
"Becuase you are pretty much laying on me, and I didn't want to wake you."
I let go of him. "Oh, sorry."
"No, it's okay. You know you look really addorible when you sleep."
I smiled. I didn't know what to say.
"When do you want to get going?"
"I don't know, what time is it?"
He pulled out his phone. "It's seven twenty"
"When ever you want to, I don't care, your the one driving."
"Do you want to change or anything? I have been up for a while, so I don't really need to, but do you need to wake up a bit more?"
"No I'm good, and I don't need to change, I am in my favorite PJ shorts and my comfy shirt, so I am good."
"Okay then, do you wanna get some food?"
"Yeah, sure."
"Let's go across the street to that place again."
"Okay." I smiled.
We hoped out the back and walked across the street. We walked right in and sat down, this time there was no one else. I sure I looked funny, no makeup, my hair was up in a bun on top of my head.
We both got Eggs and bacon.
"What time do you think we will get there?"
"I don't know, about 6."
"Okay, cool." I smiled. "I'm so happy, that I get to go live in LA, be by you.. and CC."
"Ha! See I know you like him!"
"I don't know yet, maybe."
"Well why not? Is there someone else you like?"
"I... Uh.. No."
"Your ling."
Just then the lady come with our watters, a Life saver. But after she took out orders she left..
"Now, who do you like?"
"A person."
"Who's name is?"
"a name?"
"Tell me!"
"Why?"
"I need to know."
"No you do not, drop it, please."
"Fine, for now."
"Thank you."
Soon we got our food and we ate it.
We paid and went to go back to the car.
"You ready to go?"
"Yup."
We hoped in the truck and turned on my Ipod playlist. I put it on shuffle and we were off to LA.
The first song to com one was You're Beautiful by Onision.
I sung along to every word.
"I once met this girl,
She's pretty as could be,
I told her she was beautiful,
But she didn't believe me.
Frustration consumed me,
How could she not see,
Despite the perfection I perceive,
She sees inadequacy.
See society has taught her,
To hate her the skin she's in,
To compare herself to billboards,
To starve util she's thin.
But even if she made it,
Ignored her hunger pain,
Would she finally feel at peace,
Or would her sorrow remain.
Rejection like an infection,
Breeding victims of disaffection,
So pardon my interjection,
But we must go a new direction.
This isn't natural selection,
Rather a warped projection,
Women don't need your objection,
They deserve uninfluenced introspection.
I once met this girl,
She's as pretty as could be,
I told her she was beautiful,
But she didn't believe me.
Frustration consumed me,
How could she not see,
Despite the perfection I perceive,
She sees inadequacy.
Shallow words from shallow guys,
Curse pretty girls with tainted eyes.
Forced to believe their twisted lies,
In every mirror inside she dies.
She cannot feel the love I've sent,
Despite my honest heart's intent,
I drown her in these compliments,
Yet somehow she still circumvents.
Forget the American dream,
It will destroy your self-esteem,
Happy lives need no extreme,
Beauty isn't what they deem.
You are perfect to the seam,
Don't deny you love ice cream,
If your proud lets hear your scream,
As we burn their magazines.
I once met this girl,
She's as pretty as could be,
I told her she was beautiful,
But she didn't believe me.
Frustration consumed me,
How could she not see,
Despite the perfection I perceive,
She sees inadequacy.
All that truly matters,
Are those who truly care,
The opinions of the masses,
Neither relevant or fair.
So believe what I say,
And find happiness once more,
You're beautiful, your perfect,
Of that you can be sure.
I once met this girl,
She's pretty as could be,
I told her she was beautiful,
But she didn't believe me.
Frustration consumed me,
How could she not see,
Despite the perfection I perceive,
She sees inadequacy.
What she doesn't realize,
A point she surely missed,
If you're a truly kind person,
Ugliness does not exist.
You can throw away your makeup,
This you should not doubt,
If you are beautiful within,
You are beautiful without."I looked at Allan. "That song means a lot to me, I love it." I smiled.
I sung along to every song that plaid.
