ELLA'S POV
I went into my room and grabbed a grey crew neck and khaki shorts. I walked into the bathroom and took a shower. I wear my hair natural a lot, my hair is brown and long. I did everything I need to do to get ready for tonight. I put on a little bit of mascara and eye liner. I slipped on my huff socks and put on a pair of white vans. I grabbed my phone and went into the living room and sat on the couch.
"Where are you going?" My Aunt asked me
"Wes and I are going out. Is that okay?" I asked smiling
"Of course! He is such a sweet boy. Laraine told me he hasn't stopped talking about you!"
"That's so cute." I blushed
A few minutes later the doorbell rang.
"Oh that must be Wesley!" My aunt said while walking to the door
"I'm gonna go pee really fast!" I said before she opened the door
WESLEY'S P.O.V
I walked up to Ella's door as nervous as ever. I was kinda hesitant to ring the doorbell at first, I'm not sure why.
"Wesley!" Mrs. Toler said while pulling me into a hug
"Hi, Mrs. Toler! How are you?" I smiled
"I'm great!" she smiled "Ella! Wesley is here!" She yelled to Ella
Ella walked out into the room looking so stunning. I haven't exactly seen her "ready" yet.
"You look so beautiful." I smiled
"You look great, too." She smiled
"Are you ready to go?" I asked her
"Yes!"
"You two have fun." Mrs. Toler said
"We will." I smiled and I grabbed Ella's hand and walked out the door.
"So where are we going?" She asked me while opened the car door for her
"Its gonna be a surprise." I smirked
I was planning on taking Ella to Yogurt Land, a frozen yogurt place. When we were talking I remember her telling me she liked FroYo. When we pulled into the parking lot I just watched her smile glow.
"Yogurt Land?" She asked "I haven't been here in like 10 years!" She smiled
I went around to her side of the car and opened her door. I held her hand as she shook is excitement.
"You're really excited, huh?" I laughed
"Yess!" She smiled
"Hi, welcome to Yogurt Land." The lady at the desk greeted us
"Hi." Ella and I both said
We went around to all of the flavors and filled our cups up to the top.
"Are you excited to go apartment shopping?" I asked Ella
"Yes, it is a huge step for me. Moving away from my dad was so hard and now I will be all on my own... it's kinda scary." She giggled
"When do you plan on going?"
"Tomorrow afternoon. You should come with me!" She smiled
"I would love to." I smiled
"So tell me more about your band!"
Right when I was about to tell her, Jenny screamed my name "Wesley!"
Jenny is this girl that I was talking to for a while, a complete bitch, honestly. She treated me like dirt so I stopped talking to her. I guess she doesn't realize that it is over between me and her.
I looked up in complete shock and before I knew it she came and sat down next to me "Who is this?" She asked while pointing to Ella
"Hi, I'm Ella." Ella said with a confused look on her face "And you are?"
"Jenny, Wesley's girlfriend." She smirked while looking at me
"Oh, I didn't know you had a girlfriend.." Ella said and she just started shaking her head, she stood up and started to walk away
"Ella-" I said walking behind her
She turned around so quick, "Don't worry about making up an excuse, Wes. Just come to me when you know what you want..." She tried to smile before turning around. She quietly walked out of the building and started to walk home.
"Seriously, Jenny?" I screamed to her
"What baby?" She smiled standing up
"Do NOT call me baby. There hasn't been anything happening between us for 2 months. Don't think you can just see me and expect for me to like you. That girl right there happens to be someone I really like. Please stay out of my life." I said walking away and getting into my car
I just started to drive around until I saw Ella. I parked the car and ran after her.
"That was quick." She said looking up at me
"Listen, I really like you. That girl in there, Jenny, she is crazy. Please just ignore her.."
"I will." She said hugging me
"I'm sorry." I said while tightly hugging her back
"Wanna make some smores?" I asked her
"Of course!"
We walked 2 minutes off of the beach to this little store called The Beach they sell a lot of things people would use at the beach. We bought a bag of marsh mellows, a box of graham crackers, and a few chocolate bars. We found a spot on the beach and we started a fire.
"So who exactly was that girl in there?" Ella asked me not taking her eyes off of the fire
"Jenny? She is my ex. She is crazy. Honestly. And if we ever run into her again please don't listen to her, Ella."
"I won't."
"So where did you move here from?"
"Colorado." She smiled
"Seriously? I've always wanted to go there!"
"Well I'll be going back in August feel free to join me." She smiled
"I would love that.." I smiled
