Summer Fling

Chapter 1

I must've fallen asleep because when I woke up we were pulling into the driveway.

"We're here." My dad said looking at me and smiling

I just smiled and stretched before getting out of the car. The house was huge. I had just graduated high school and I decided to come move to Huntington Beach, California. Until I find a nice apartment and job, I will be living with my Aunt and Uncle.

"Ella!" My aunt screamed while running out of the house

"Hi, Aunt Sue!" I said while hugging her

"Tony is at work and he will be home around dinner time!" She said while walking over to my dad

I used to come to my Aunt and Uncle's all of the time and then we just stopped a few years ago. Their house was right by the beach, one of the only houses by the beach actually. I grabbed a box and followed my Dad.

"This is your room." My dad said smiling while placing a box onto the floor

He pulled me into a tight hug and wouldn't let go.

"I'm gonna miss you, El." He said while placing his chin over my head

"I'm gonna miss you too. dad." I said smiling

We both went to go get more boxes. I only had like 8 boxes so it wasn't too bad. I walked back into my room and I completely forgot all about what was in there. I opened the two doors and it led to the balcony that had the best view of the ocean. On the balcony was a fire pit and a few lawn chairs. It also had a surf board.

I ran over to the board and lightly ran my hand down it. I forgot all about surfing. I went back into my room and started to unpack the boxes.

My dad walked in smiling, "Want me to help?"

"No, I'm okay." I said smiling

"Well, I guess I will head off now." He said while walking towards me

"Don't worry, Dad. I'll be fine and so will you." I said hugging him

"Have fun." He said while kissing my forehead and walking out of my room

I really only packed clothes because a lot of other things were useless. I heard someone knock on the door. Was my dad back already?

"Ella! Come here" My aunt yelled from a different room

When I walked out of my room and into the living room their were two boys and a women sitting down on the couch. One of the boys eyes just lit up, he looked so happy for some reason.

"H-hi I'm Wesley, but you can call me Wes." He said while throwing his hand out firmly in front of me

I grabbed his hand and shook it, "Ella." I said smiling

"I'm Keaton!" The other boy said jumping up

"Hi, Keaton." I said smiling and laughing

"Hi, I am Laraine. These two goofy boys are my sons." She said while pulling me into a hug

"They seem like great people." I said smiling

I took a seat next to my aunt and kinda faded out of the conversation that her and Laraine were having.

"Ella!" My aunt said laughing

'Oh, uh, Yes?" I said sitting up straight

"I asked if you wanted to go surfing with Wes and Keaton.." She said laughing

"Oh! I would love to!" I said while smiling and standing up

"Should I go get ready?" I asked them
