Chapter 5

Camila's Point of View

I was called to the P.E. office for some reason as well as Ally and Di. Something felt off. Laur. wasn't here. I'm gonna kill whoever made her upset. We all looked at each other, knowing what we're all thinking.

"Lauren is fine," I say before Lonnie can ask. She gave me a confused look.

"Isn't that why you called us?" Ally asked.

"Um... yea, do you guys know where she is?" she asked.

"Yea, she's fine, though, so you don't have to worry," Di says, reassuring her.

"How are you guys sure?" She asked. Ugh, I know that she's just worried for Lauren but seriously, she needs to trust us on this, especially when it comes to any of us.

"We have lived with each other for our entire life and we learned to do the drills when it comes with each other," I respond this time.

"Right now, she needs her space, today isn't really a great day for any of us and she taking it hard so yea, she'll come back, give her an hour or 2, if she doesn't come then we'll talk to her," Ally says. We know that she's gonna skip the rest of school. We could see her face sadden. We roll our eyes. We hate getting pity because we don't need it.

"We have a class to do, so if you don't mind, we're going," Di says with a little sass. It's still 2nd period, and she wants to go back, we all do. School was finally done, once the bell rang, me, Al, Di, and Cait dashed out of the school and went to the R.P. (Reflection Pond), to find Laur, singing, "I'm in love with a monster" one of the Fifth Harmony aka us. We join her. Cait sang Mani's part since Mani wasn't here.

I knew she was talking about Eli. She has a crush on him. I mean Eli and Caity were our friends the longest since we met them when we came here. We had to hang with them because their parents was in a meeting with the king and queen when we came. We didn't became friends with them straight away, because we were still wary of new people. We actually became friends with them in middle school and we all got close. Eli and Laur had always had the same classes every year and so yea til Lauren got a crush on him. I remember that night when she confess to me that she likes Eli. We have always teased her liking him when we were younger because of how close they were because Lauren was never really close to any guys before so he was the first. After, we finished that, we all cracked up laughing. We all hugged her.

"You ok?" I asked her.

"Better now, that you guys are here," she says.

"Chad?" Cait asked. She nods her head. My blood boiled. Man, good thing, that Chad is royal or else, I would beat his ass without getting sent back to the Orphanage.

"What did he say?" I hear Ally says. I looked up at her and I know that what I'm about to hear, will make me more mad.

"He said that I'm a disappointment and a mistake and that my parents didn't love me, that's why they gave me up," she says with her voice cracking.

"Babe, you know that's not true, you are a wonderful, amazing, lovable girl, I know, so don't listen to that jerk," Caity says hugging her while kissing her forehead. We all kissed her forehead. We all stayed here for the rest of day. Cait wanted us to celebrate our birthday. So she went back to the dormitory and grab us food. She and Eli insisted that they could get the cake. Killer Frost had taken over to help Caity out. When everything was set up. We had so much food in front of us. We loved them with all of our hearts. We're so lucky to have them.

"Thank you guys," I say to them.

"Yea, thanks, you guys didn't need to do this at all," Laur says. Everyone else agreed.

"Hey, what are friends for, right? so enjoy," Eli says. We smiled and tackled them into a hug. They just laughed and hugged back. Cait and Eli used their power to make it snow. They even froze the pond so we can have an ice rank to skate even though we don't know how. But we learned tonight. After, bit of skating, we had a snow ball fight. It was me and Laur. Al and Di. And the twins, Cait and Eli. Me and Laur won. We did our silly dance only to have the others throw snowballs at us. After that, we built a snowman. Being cheesy, we sang 'Do you want to build a snowman'. Then we ate cake. Tonight was the best day of our lives. It was way past our curfew and we had to sneak in to our dorms. I change into out of my clothes and changed into one Lauren's hoodie, that was on my bed, that I had stole from her because she stole my phone. It's her favorite hoodie too. Lauren changed into her normal attire which is a sport bra and spandex.
