5 YEARS LATER.

EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT. Finally, after so long, they had a second chance. Time travel was a fickle thing, and they'd need as much help as they could get.

Which was why Tony decided to recruit the last person on anybody's list to help. Trying to find this person, though, was the hard part.

Cosmo disappeared 5 years ago. About a month after the snap, they had found where Thanos was hiding out, yet they seemed to arrive a day late. Cosmo had gotten there first, leaving only a note. Somehow, she knew they'd make it there too.

The stones are destroyed. So I destroyed him. There's no other way.

But I will find a way.

Tony knew right away who it was. Cosmo had such a determination to find Thanos, it wasn't a surprise that she could sense the disturbance when the stones were destroyed.

But now here he was, standing on the roof of the Avenger's facility, staring off into the sky with his eyes shut hard, praying in his own strange way for Cosmo to return. Maybe, just maybe, she was listening.

That cosmic awareness had to be working, because something warped behind him, a quick yet noticeable sound.

Tony turned around, facing Cosmo 5 years older. Arlyn's body seemed to not have aged a day, but he could see it in her eyes. Stepping closer, it was more and more noticeable how different she was. Something was hidden behind the confidence and roughness of her demeanour once she began to speak.

"Why did you call me here?" Cosmo spoke calmly—much more calmly than their last chat.

Her hands clasped together, making Tony realize how much of Arlyn's skin had transformed. Starting from her hands and fizzling out up her arms, her skin burned a dark purple, her fingertips stained in dark lilac. Arlyn's body must have had to handle a lot over 5 years. Tony couldn't even imagine how big Cosmo really was behind the mask.

Tony shrugged, feeling much more confident speaking to her now. "You find a way yet?"

Cosmo's jaw clenched. Her midnight curls framed her face, her bright purple eyes catching his view. "You have no idea how hard I've been working, yet you've been slacking off like a lazy-!"

Tony crossed his arms, waiting as Cosmo slowly defused, cutting herself off. She didn't seem to have the same spunk as before. Maybe these past years haven't been easy for even her.

"Why are you doing this?" Tony asked, stepping closer. Cosmo didn't flinch, yet instead brushed past him, staring at the stone ground of the roof.
