Injury-Chapter Fifteen

Suddenly, a loud evil voice was in the air.

"Holy Crap"!

I bolted away and grabbed a stick.

The Crimson Witch flew dangerously close to me.

I jumped up and whacked her in the head with the stick.

"TAKE THAT YOU WICKED OLD BANSHEE"!

I watched with triumph as the witch went crashing down away from the park.

"Are you okay, princess"?

Starchild was the first one to land back down to the ground.

"Yeah, I guess so".

Starchild and SpaceMan looked at each other, then back at me.

"Did somebody hit you"?

Catman looked really concerned.

"It's a scar where some doctor tried to remove it when I only two days old".

The band listened carefully as I explained to them.

"He accidentally spilt a liquid onto my face and the scar has been here since".

Starchild smiled at me when I was done.

After that, they left to go and catch that witch.

"Silly rockstars. Nobody does that anymore nowadays".

I laughed to myself as I explored the park.

After reciving a Catman plush toy for winning a game, I hugged it to my chest.

"This thing is so cute".

A couple of people looked at me and one of them said:

"Looks at the freak".

And they all laughed.

I slowly turned my head, glaring at them.

But they just kept on laughing.

"All of y'all shut up or I'll get the Catman from KISS to scratch your eyeballs out of your skull"!

I snarled at them.

A taller girl decided to get tough.

She picked up a large rock and threw it at me.

But I dodged it easily.

"What's going on here"?

Catman walked up to me.

I told him what had happened.

"There is no need to be so cruel, she is special".

I was confused.

After everybody left us alone, I was told by Catman to follow him.

So I did.
