It Started With A Fight

Prologue

Oaklynn's POV

Hello, my name is Oaklynn. I'm 17 years old and I have a little sister named, Brynn, and a best friend named Astrid.

We live in a three bedroom house.

We don't live with our parents because, well, they're dead.

They were alcoholics. They always got drunk with each other. Always coming home drunk.

But one night it got really bad.

They drank more than they ever have.

So when they were on their way back home, they got into a car accident.

They died on impact.

So, with me getting a job that pays a lot. I was able to get a three bedroom house.

I take care of my 6 year old little sister, Brynn. Once I turn 18 I'm adopting her.

I attend Lakewood High School along with Astrid. We're seniors.

We don't plan on going to college. Only because I have to take care of Brynn. Also because we don't want to.

We want to get a good, well, better job than what we have right now.

Mine and Astrid's jobs are street fighting. We are undefeated.

That job pays very well. We got into it three years ago when our parents died.

Yes, it's been three years since our parents died in that crash.

But, to be honest, I'm happy I don't have to deal with drunk parents all the time. I mean, yeah, I miss them. I miss them so much. But there is only so much you can take when it comes to that. I wish they were still here, but not be drunk all the time.

Anyway, once I graduate high school, I'm not gonna fight anymore, well once I find another job, a better job, I'm gonna stop street fighting, Astrid and I both are.

But for right now, we are going to continue street fighting to support our selves.

This year, our senior year, is gonna be amazing. I can feel it.

Litte did I know, Senior year, would turn out amazing.

Hey my loves, I didn't make many changes in this, but I will in the chapters, I can feel it.
