Holly and Sam's relationship was the only thing everyone was talking about the next day. Everyone was excited about the new couple. They were currently happily in the honeymoon stage. People started talking less about it the longer they were dating. However, the honeymoon stage doesn't last forever.
The problems started small like not knowing what to do or where to eat. They could spend countless hours bickering about it. Then Sam started to make more friends. The more friends he had the less time he spent will Holly. Soon they hardly saw each other.
After not feeling important enough Holly turned to one of Sam's best friends, Lewis. No one knew that they were talking. Even when they grew closer at school no one noticed. Holly started talking to some of her friends about how she was annoyed when some people started shipping other people with Sam. Yet, she never told Sam how she felt. Holly decided maybe she should end things with him. She told Lewis about it. Lewis was completely on board with her decision. Holly loved talking to Lewis and he made her happy. She started to have feelings for him and Lewis' feeling for her grew too.
A few days after Holly and Lewis decided to date, Holly went to the park with Sam to break up with him. "Hey, Sam, we need to talk," Holly said.
"What is it?" Sam asked, but when Holly went to speak his phone started ringing. "Can you hold on for a minute? James is calling"
"Sam, this is important," Holly said.
"Hey James," Sam answered the phone. It was quiet for a few seconds. "O-oh okay. I'll be there soon."
"Be where soon? Sam, I need to talk to you!" Holly said. Sam turned around.
"James was in an accident."
