"wake up, dandelion." i whisper, picking up danni from her crib.

she opens her eyes slowly, looking up at me with her big blue eyes.

"hi baby." i smile, sitting on the couch next to tyler, who's attention is averted from the screen as i hand him danni.

"awe, g'morning sunshine." he coos, bouncing her on his knee. she giggles.

"morn'in daddies." she exclaims, rubbing her eyes.

"did you sleep well, hun?" i ask, sitting cross-legged on the couch next to tyler and danni.

"yea." she yawns, stretching her arms above her head.

"i love you, little monster." tyler says suddenly, hugging our tiny girl and kissing her cheek.

"and i too, love you." i hug the two of them, kissing them both on the head.

"you know, when she's a teenager, we won't be able to do this." tyler jokes, making me chuckle.

"we'll still love her all that same."
