Afraid

"Not again" I said in my head, this can't be happening again. Why do every time I fall so deeply for someone they just... leave. People can be afraid of many things such as: spiders, darkness or heights, sure they sound pretty scary but only one can know when something is scary once you get hurt by your fear. Me? Oh, I've been hurt by my fear many time before, more than I would like to admit. It makes me think that perhaps there is something wrong with me. Yeah, you guessed right... love isterrifying, you never know what could happen; the worst thing about love is that when something goes wrong you can actually somehow feel your heart shattering into a million pieces and can hear it screaming for help, shouting, asking for bandages. I realized that I was falling once again and I knew that my heart hadn't healed completely yet.

The bell dismissed us from class, I quickly got my things and rushed to my locker. As I was making my way throught the crowd of students who where re uniting with their friends- "Paige! Wait up!" He screamed bringing me back to reality. Jack Avery only the most handsome and popular kid from school, every single girl wanted to be with him and every guy wanted to be him not to mention, he was the captain of the football team and my brothers best friend. I've known him since I was 7; mybrother ( Daniel Seavey: very desired by girls too, popular and also in the football team) and him have been best friends since then. "Why didn't you wait for me?" he asked with a sad tone "sorry, didn't hear you" I said with a grin, he chuckled and said "sooo, party tonight at my house. You coming?" I must tell you, I don't like parties, I don't see the purpose of them it's just a bunch of drunk teenagers who have way too many problems and are just drinking the night away to forget, most of them, going numb. I much rather prefer to stay home with a big, warm, brown cup of deliciousness called coffee and a good book or just binge watching a decent series on Netflix. "I don't know" I said shrugging "come on! It will be fun.. you never go.." "but that's because I don't like parties and you know that" "just because you've never been to one doesn't mean you don't like them" he said nudging me with his elbow "fine. I'll make an appearance" I said with a huff. "Jacky boo!" Said the most annoying girly voice in the whole world, Jack's girlfriend: Gabriela (a/n: no hate towards gabbie it's just for story purposes!! But I will say that I do use her for most of the stories but it's just because it goes well with their themes. any way moving on) "Hey babe" said Jack as he kissed her.

Oh no, here we go again...

Dear heart, I'm sorry, I know I should've waited longer. I know tonight I'm going to be one of those teenagers.
