chapter 5

I needed space, I always felt suffocated around my mom and Steven. Why can't they understand me?

As soon as I left my house, my mom kept calling and I sent her straight to voicemail. I had made my point clear_she and Steven's relationship had to be ended.

I walked to a nearby park, hell I don't even know where I am but as far as I'm away from my mom, I'm alright with that. The sun had already set and everywhere was dark. My subconscious kept on telling me that I made a mistake by leaving but I told myself that they needed to know how serious I was.

I sat on a bench and stared at the sky, staring at the stars made me feel better, they gave me hope, that one day I would wake up from this nightmare. A loud scream interrupted me from my thoughts and I stood up and turned back to see who that was.

My eyes widened and I took another step forward.

"leave me alone! " the lady screamed.

I looked again and saw a man pressing the lady again a wall.

Calming myself mentally, I tried to think with logic. I should go over there and help her...its not your business Kelly! Another voice in my head spoke.  This situation reminded me of what my mom went through with dad and I just couldn't leave her alone, he was abusing her.

"leave her alone! " I screamed pushing the man away from the lady.

"who the hell are you!" the man smirked "get the fuck out here before I do something bad to you, fuck off! "

"didn't you hear me? I said leave her alone! "  I snapped at him.

Honestly I still don't know why I was still here but I couldn't just leave her.

The strange man left the lady and started coming closer to me. I could perceive the smell of alcohol and smoke. He kept coming closer and I started moving backwards.

"what the fuck is going on here? " an unknown voice questioned.

The huge man and I turned back and saw tall guy, strong figure and perfect brown hair which looked a little messy but still perfect.

Holy mother of sexiness!

The huge guy smirked and started walking in the direction of the sexy god and I let out a sigh which I didn't even know I was holding.

The huge guy brought out a knife and aimed it at the sexy god but he got a hold of his hand and twisted it, which made the knife fall off.  The Sexy god (I'm so calling him that) pushed him to the ground and gave him a couple of blows and punched him hard in his face.  He was about to throw another punch but missed and gave the huge guy the opportunity to give him a punch and pushed him away. 

Oh no!

"you messed with the wrong guy dude! The guy smirked once more.

Seriously does this guy smirk all the time or what?

But wait!  What the hell did I just see?  Sexy god just got back on his feet and kicked the huge guy in the groin and the guy moved back. He tightened his hand around the guy and his face was already turning into a nice shade of pink, he gripped harder. 

"do you think you can just attack ladies anyhow?  I swear if I see you attack a lady again I'll fucking kill you! " he cursed. 

Something wasn't right, they knew each other.

The guy made a pathetic choking sound and then the sexy god pushed him aside.

"now get out of here! You make me sick! " he ordered and the guy made a run for it.
