"Why do you want for breakfast?" I asked.

"Anything that will satisfy the baby." Ava said.

"French toast." I said.

She followed me downstairs,

"Cameron ordered everything for the party and the decorations are up for the party." I answered.

"Your parents, Jack?" she asked.

"They fly in today." I said.

"And do I finally get to meet them?" She asked.

"Yes." I smiled.

"Okay good." she answered.

"Are your parents already in town?" I asked.

"Yup they flew in yesterday and they want to come visit today." she sighed.

"What if they don't like me?" I asked.

"Trust me they will. If they've liked all my brother's past girlfriends they'll definitely like you." She laughed.

"What's that supposed to mean?" I asked.

"It's supposed to mean that my parents will love you because I love you but they'll never love you more than I do. Okay? Now eat your food because we have to get this place together before our parents come." She said.

I kissed her forehead and grabbed a plate,

"I think the baby is a girl." I said.

"What makes you think that?" she asked.

"I just feel like it is." I laughed.

"Well we'll find out tomorrow." She smiled.

"Also we have to take our family portrait today." I said.

"Can we take it later in this week? There's so much going on today." Ava whined.

"I'll reschedule for Thursday." I said.

"Okay thank you babe." she smiled.

So tomorrow is gonna be 6 months and I couldn't be happier,

My phone rang all of a sudden and I looked at the caller id,

Fuck. It was my mom. I picked up and greeted her.

"Hey your dad and I were gonna stop by in a bit." She said.

"Jack and I are getting ready." I lied.

I looked over at Jack who was stuffing his face in eggs.

"Well then that's perfect." She said.

"And today we also have last minute things to do for the party tomorrow." I added.

"Then we'll come over tonight. Your dad and I want to meet Jack." She said.

"You guys can meet him tomorrow." I said.

"Why not tonight? Isn't it fair that we meet the guy that got our daughter pregnant and has been with her for over a year now?" she sassed.

"Because tonight Jack and I are going out with his family. And I never said you couldn't meet him, I just said it'd have to be tomorrow. Not only that you kinda invited yourself over." I said.

"Okay then we'll see you tomorrow." She said before hanging up.

Jack came up from behind me and kissed my ear.
