As I stepped out of the shower, I heard a knock on the door,

"Jack?" I called.

"That's me!" he said from the other side of the door.

"Uhh I'm naked." I said.

"Uh it's my room and there should be a robe right outside the shower." he said.

I finished drying off then put on the big grey robe.

I opened the door to a smiling J,

"You look happy, what's up?" he asked closing the door behind him.

"Well today I have an appointment, secondly my family has been dying to see you before they leave so I made a reservation for all of us to have dinner tonight." I smiled.

He smiled and put his stuff on his chair,

"That's amazing. Also I'm coming with you to your appointment."

"Perfect. I just need to find some clothes to wear and we'll be all set." she smiled.

......

J and I waited in the waiting room for the doctor to come.

"I think we should take a little vacation soon." he mumbled rubbing my shoulders.

"You know I didn't officially end things with Jack yet, right?" I whispered.

"I know but I just want you to know that I'm next in line." he smirked.

"Well I'll keep that in mind but, don't you need some time to get over you and Kenya?" I asked.

"I've been over it. See it's easy for me to get over things knowing that there were never any true feelings there. Just wants and desires." he said.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Money, sex and fame. There was no love, no feelings— there was nothing." he said.

He looked down at his hands in his lap and fidgeted with his fingers.

I got off the bed and hugged him as he sat down,

"I love you. And thank you for everything." I said.

He smiled a bit and hugged me back as his free hand rested on my bump,

he kissed my bump and looked up at me.

"what?" I asked.

"This baby is gonna be gorgeous. Just from you. She's going to get the best genes." he laughed.

I took his beanie off and ran my hands through his blonde hair,

"I kind of wish she was yours. With beautiful eyes and hair." I mumbled.

"I kind of wish she was mine too because she would be one drop dead gorgeous child." He said.

"I mean she's already going to be gorgeous but damn-" he added.

"I get where you're going." I laughed.

He looked down and tangled his fingers with mine,

"I'm sorry." he said.

"It's not your fault. It's Jack's. He should've told me he didn't want this to happen earlier and we could've worked something out." I said.

He sighed and stroked his fingers through my hair,

I kissed his forehead, "you're gonna need a haircut soon." i laughed.

"i'm growing it out a bit." he whined.

Jack held my hand as we looked for the image on the screen,

"There's her head and if you look close enough you can see her little toes. She's developing very well and she's very healthy." The doctor said.

Jack smiled at me and squeezed my hand,

"She's beautiful." he said.

I smiled back at him,

"Do you take your vitamins regularly?" The doctor asked.

"Yes and I'm supposed to be starting the birth classes as well soon?" I asked.

"In about 2 weeks you should be and I noticed your blood pressure is awfully high and that's not good for you or the baby. Stress?" She asked.

"Yeah but I'm working on it. Any suggestions?" I asked.

"Great and I suggest long and soothing baths, aromatherapy, naps, maybe even a spa day or a day out with the girls, alone time with your partner, a vacation and massages are a big help." The doctor said.

"Thank you so much." I said shaking her hand.

"No problem. The nurse will get you cleaned up and I'll go get the images for you two and you should be good." she said.

The doctor left the room which left J and I together,

"You're getting the best massage ever when we get home and that's a promise." J said.

"Mmm we'll see about that." I said.

He kissed the side of my lips,

"You missed." I mumbled.

He kissed me right in the middle of my lips,

"What happened to getting over Jack?" he mumbled.

"Who? The only Jack I know is you." I said.

"You're so lucky your ass is knocked up. If you weren't—fuck!" he groaned the last part.

"Yeah we should definitely get going." I laughed.
