Difference (*Ackley Bridge*)

It was the first day of my first official week at Ackley Bridge and I wasn't actually very bothered about it to be honest, I got dressed into my school uniform and grabbed my earphones making my journey to school, Missy and Nas were having the day off because Missy's mum had shown up even though she wasn't meant to be around I did offer to stay with them but they told me that it wasn't necessary and they didn't want me to get into trouble on my second day of school so I agreed and decided to go to school. While I was walking to school Jordan came running up beside me and pulled out one of my earphones which annoyed me a little bit but I shrugged it off.

"What do you want Jordan?" I asked

"Nothing just thought I would walk to school with you." He said casually

"Alright fine." I said to him as we walked through the school gates together when we got inside the building I departed with Jordan and went into the student lounge and sat on the sofa by myself with my earphones in whilst I looked through my phone. When I looked ahead I saw some black shoes standing in front of me so I looked up from my phone and saw Alya standing in front of me with a tilted head and a small smirk on her face.

"Where are your friends?" She asked

"At home where are yours?" I asked

"Physics trip." She said bluntly as she sat beside me so I stopped listening to my music and stepped the white earphones around my phone and put them into my school bag.

"Was there something you wanted Alya because you clearly aren't here to make friends." I say to her as I grab myself a drink from the coffee machine in the corner of the room and before she could say anything to me there was an announcement saying that years eleven, twelve and thirteen needed to head to the hall for an assembly so I walked out of the student lounge and lined up outside the main doors, when I sat down I had Miss Keane to the right of me and Cory to the left of me. Miss Carter was giving a speech about anti bullying and being kind to one another,

"It's a load of shit." Cory whispered

"Possibly." I whispered back to him I then felt his arm drape over the back of my chair when he leaned back in his seat I kept my eyes forward but I could see him looking at me briefly with a slight smile. When I turned my head I saw Candice looking over at me and Cory and she didn't look very happy.

"Come out tonight?" Cory whispered in my ear,

"Why there is nothing to do." I say

"A bunch of us are going to the hill tonight for a get together." He continued

"I'll think about it." I replied to him, I then looked again and still saw Candice looking in my direction. "Why is Candice constantly looking over here?" I asked Cory who leaned forward and looked at Candice also.

"Don't know probably jealous or something." He said a little skittish.

"Jealous of what exactly?" I asked him

"Well us." He said casually and I just frowned before shuffling in my seat.

"Whatever Cory." I say before the assembly ended, we were all walking out of the building when I saw Hayley rushing over to the school gates to a blonde woman trying to pull her away and that's when I recognised the woman as Simone, she was off her face.
I went over to Hayley and helped her,

"We need Missy." She told me and as if on queue Nas and Missy came rushing into school grabbing Simone by the arm.

"Lee! Lee love lend us a fiver." She said

"You know I can't Simone." I said seriously I then heard laughing and giggling and when I turned around I saw Alya standing with some different girls,
