Chapter 4

Natalia's point of view

I finally get home and I spot Zoé talking to my mom.

I go up to her and say "Hi Zoé what are you doing here?"

She looks at me and says "I came by to talk to you about something"

I look at her and say "Oh okay let's go to my room"

we get to my room and I say "How did you get here so fast!?"

She looks at me and says with a deep breath "I skipped last period cause I had to go home before Jeongin gets their"

"why?" I say looking at her with big eyes

"cause I had to take something from him to show you"

"Why would you do that?!"

"Cause it's important for you to see"

I look at her stunned that she did that I'm not used to her skipping classes and her stealing from her brother.

Fine what is it"

she opens her backpack and hands me something I look at her with disbelief and unwrap it.

It's a bunch of pictures of me from the age of 12 to 14.

"I don't understand, did you take these pictures?" I ask Zoé

"No I didn't Jeongin did"

"What why would he do that!?" I asked her

"Well you see Natalia I think he likes you"

I stare at her shocked. No way Jeongin would like me I'm weird, dumb and not popular.

I start laughing and say "Nice joke Zoé you really got me there".

She stares at me and says "No Natalia for real I went in his room yesterday and I saw him looking at those pictures, I really think he likes you, Natalia"

"He wouldn't though he doesn't like me he was always so mean to me and he never showed one sign of interest, so why would that change now?"

"Idk maybe he finally has the nerve to talk to you."

I look at the pictures more closely and I say to Zoé "Zoé this is really creepy I don't like this is he this much of a stalker?"

"No, no he isn't that much of a stalker he just really likes you and wants to see your beautiful face all the time"

"Well he could have just asked to take selfies with me"

"True," Zoé says "But maybe he is too scared to ask you"

"Thank you Zoé for showing me these pictures, I think I will stop hanging out with Jeongin that often anymore," Natalia says.

"Can you do me one favour, Natalia? Can you not tell Jeongin that I showed you these pictures?" Zoé says.

"Sure I won't tell Jeongin"

"Okay, thanks, Natalia. I have to go now talk to you tomorrow! Bye Zoé" I seat down and take a deep breath I don't know what to do about Jeongin anymore. I never thought he was that type of person I always thought he was the soft, squishy and adorable person, not a stalker.

Zoé's Point Of View

When Natalia told me that she likes Jeongin my heart broke.

I liked Natalia for 2 years now and I've never even considered that she liked Jeongin. Stupid me I should have noticed the signs that they liked each other but I didn't. Well at least she won't hang out with him as much anymore my idea to make her not like him is working. But I wonder if she will ever like me, I doubt it.

I go to my room and take the pictures out of my backpack and place them back in my draw. That's when I hear a knock on my door I go and open it and I see Jeongin staring at me with a sad expression on his face. Oh no, this isn't good. I hope Natalia didn't tell Jeongin.

Before I can say anything Jeongin said in a quiet voice "Natalia said that she doesn't want to hang out with me anymore"

I stand there shocked that the plan worked so fast. "O-oh why?"

Jeongin comes and sits on my bed. "She said that she needed space and that we shouldn't talk for a while"

"I'm so sorry Jeongin I know how much you like her and I will try to knock some sense into her tomorrow at school I said trying not to smile

"Okay," Jeongin says trying not to cry.

Jeongin's Point of view

I get home from school and see that Zoé still isn't home. I'm getting really worried about her she isn't acting normal nowadays.
I go to my room and jump on my bed and sigh with relief today was very successful. I'm so happy that we talked a bit on the bus. But before I can think about Natalia more, I hear my phone beep I take it and jump out of my bed. I can't believe I just got a message from Natalia!!! I throw my phone across my bed and stare at it scared of what she might have texted. Finally, I grab my phone and see what she said.

I gasp when I finish reading the message she sent.

"Hey Jeongin, I know that we still should hang out for another 1 and a half weeks but I think that we should stop hanging out for a while... I'm sorry Jeongin but I need to think about things.. on my own. I'm sorry
From: Natalia"

I try not to cry, I go to my sister's room and explain to her what happened she looks pretty shocked when I told her but I can tell something is off when I told her but I can't point it out.
