(Stray kids) Yang Jeongin

Chapter 3

Natalia's point of view

Today is the first day that I will be sitting beside Jeongin on the bus I'm so excited!! Also kind of nervous. I don't know how to act in front of him anymore. Just keep it cool I say to myself while I enter the bus and sit at my usual spot.
That's when I totally remember about my best friend. She will know that me and Jeongin are going to try to be friends for 2 weeks. I don't know what she will think. I hope she is okay with it. I think she will. She's never been the type to just ditch people for not hanging out with her so it's going to be okay.
Next thing I know Jeongin is entering the bus with Zoé. She looks happy. She sits 1 seat away from me. That's kinda odd. Then Jeongin pops up and sits right beside me and smiles. Did he tell Zoé about the 2 weeks?

Jeongin's point of view

I spot Natalia at her usual spot, she has a frown on her face. I wonder what she is thinking. But it will be okay I already told Zoé about the plan. She already figured out that I like Natalia. Thank god she did not tell her. That would have been a disaster.
I watch Zoé sit one sit away from Natalia so I can sit beside her. I plop beside her and give her a nice smile, her face turns red. She's so cute. We sit in silence that seems like eternity

Finally I speak up and say "Hi"to Natalia.

She said in a quit voice that I can barely hear "Hey"

From the corner of my eye I see Zoé smirking. Finally the bus stops and we are at school. We walk of the bus and Zoé and Natalia walk away. I watch and sigh. I wonder why they walked off so fast. And left me alone. Then I headed to class slowly.

Natalia's point of view

Zoé drags me to our homeroom. And makes me sit down in front of her.

She looks me straight in the eye and says "Do you like Jeongin?"

I stare at her feeling my cheeks burn. "N-no" I say probably looking like an idiot.

"Really Natalia?" She says looking like she doesn't believe a word I say.

" I don't!!!!" I say almost screaming.

"Well I don't believe you." She said with a smirk on her face. "It's so obvious especially when you talk to him. "Your face turns all red and you act differently in front of him, I was questioning if you liked him for about 6 months now". "The reason I'm talking about it to you right now is because Jeongin told me about you guys being friends for 2 weeks. "And who knows how long afterwards." She smiles brightly. "Natalia you could have told me that you liked him I wouldn't have been upset. "Besides we are best friends and best friends tell each other everything."

I sigh with relief I didn't even realise that I was so nervous how her reaction would be. I smile at her and give her a really tight hug. Thank goodness that she says it's okay.

Then she turns stiff and says " But one thing, He can't steal my best friend away from me."

"Okay" I say and she nods. The bell rings and we head to are first class.

Jeongin's point of view

Finally it's the end of the day this was one of the longest days ever. I didn't see Natalia at lunch. I wonder what happened. I hope she is alright. And that she goes on the bus today. I line up to go on the bus and see Natalia running towards the bus stop.

She stops right in front of me and says "Are we going to sit beside each other?"

I stare at her for a while and say "If you want Natalia"

She says "yeah I wouldn't mind."

We go on the bus and sit quietly for awhile I wonder where my sister is and if she is coming.

I finally have the nerve to talk to Natalia I say "So how is your day going?"

"Good and you?" she says

"Good I guess but kinda boring by the way why did I not see you at lunch?"

"Oh I was with Zoé and we ate outside."

"Ahh I see."

Finally it was are stop and we head towards the exit.

Right before we turn in different directions I take her hand and say "I hope we hang out more often."

"Sure she says and smiles.

And we head in our different ways.
