We pull into Dillan's long and narrow driveway about fifteen minutes later. We didn't really talk much. Just enjoyed the noise of the radio, and the gentle breeze flowing through my long and wavy brown hair. As he parked in his three car garage, I unbuckled and grabbed my stuff from off of the floor between my feet and opened up the car door to exit the vehicle.
"So you still want to watch Jumanji first?" Dillan asks to double check what I want to watch.
"Yeah, we can watch that first. Then Midnight Sun to calm us down from the excitement of the action packed Jumanji. I did see the trailer you know." I give a small giggle with that statement.
"What?" He says laughing at me.
"I just remembered the time we cuddled all afternoon watching a bunch of movie trailers in your bedroom. Now that was a fun time" That day flashes back in my head like it was yesterday. We just cuddled and watched movie trailer all afternoon and evening. By the time we were done, it was time for us to go to sleep. But we didn't go to sleep. Instead I made him chase me outside to his pool. I was about to escape through his gate when he picked me up from the behind and threw me into the pool. Then he jumped in after me and we had a series of splash wars that lead to one hot and steamy make-out session. We didn't get out of the pool until at least one in the morning. God it was a thrill when I am with him.
"Hahaha! Yeah that was one crazy fun night. We should do it again sometime." Dillan suggests with a hefty laugh.
"I would love to!" I answer in agreement. After that was said Dillan and I walked up his spiral stairs to his bedroom. I love his bedroom for many reasons. It smells like him, his room is huge, the bed is super comfortable and is king sized. So of course there is plenty of room for the both of us.
"You ready to watch the first movie now?" he asks.
"Yep! I'm ready when you are." I say as I get comfortable on his bed. When he gets done putting the movie on, he gets on the bed and places his arm around me. I snuggle in closer into his embrace as a faint smile appears on my face. This makes me so happy.
I look down at Sarah as the movie is almost done with the credits. I feel bad for playing her. It all started with a bet. But is it bad that this bet could be turning into something more for me? Wait that can't happen or I will lose, and I got to much on the line to lose. I got my acting career and my football captain position. And those two things are what mainly makes me, me. Four months ago Ethan Roberts, also known as my best friend put me up to this. Sarah is one of the most innocent and most popular girl in the school. Ethan put a bet between him, our friend Mathew, and me that whoever was able to make Sarah Johns fall in love with them, take away her virginity, and then breaks her heart on her 18th birthday wins the bet. Whoever wins and follows through gets to be captain of the football team, and gets to be the male lead to the school play. The male lead in the senior school play receives a scholarship normally every year to Julliard. But is all that worth breaking Sarah's heart over. Come on Dillan it's my career and the rest of my life we are talking about here. So of course it's worth it. It's just one girl out of the millions out there. I've gotten this far, I can't back down now. I look down at her. She just looks so peaceful while watching the movie. That's when she looked up at me and gave me one of her world famous heart-melting smiles.
"Are you enjoying the movie?" Sarah asks in a soft voice.
"Yes I am. Are you?" I return the question.
"I am actually. It's a great movie so far. It's almost over though"
"Yeah, but then we can take a break and make some snacks so we can watch the next one?"
"Yeah that sounds great babe!" She replies in excitement.
"Alright good! The that's what we shall do my love" She smiles up at me and snuggles closer. I lean my chin on top of hers as we continue to watch the movie. Oh lord, what am I gonna do when the time comes to break her heart. She doesn't deserve this. But my career is on the line.
I really hope you guys are enjoying the story so far. This is my first book, so please ignore the few mistakes. I will be going back later on to fix them up. But what do you think so far?
