Masons returning

Time skip to school

We pull up and into a parking spot and shut off the car. None of us moved since we have no idea how to deal with mason and his returning. Its not that I'm scared of what everyone will think I'm scared of what Adrian will do next. He's already sent him off what could happen now is a mystery I don't want to solve.

"Hey.... carter its ok... I know what your thinking he's not going to hurt me again."

He rustles my hair and gets out immediately after. He takes a deep breath of fresh air and begins looking around. All of his "freinds" were walking inside. Across the grass he spotted Adrian and tightened his fists.

e stomps out of the parking lot and disappears into the crowd of people. Thinking he was going to class I left him alone. I open the trunk and grab my bag as I hear a bunch of people start chanting the word fight. Now knowing why mason left I shut the trunk and run over to the mound of people and push through them. There punching each other was Mason and Adrian. I run in the middle of them and I get punched by Adrian. I fall to the ground and feel my now tender cheek. Mason goes for another punch before I hop up and stop them. I push them away from each other and use all my strength to keep it that.

"Enough.... both of you."

"Mason?"

"Yes Adrian its me and you would have known that if you would have turned around when I yelled at you."

"I thought you were dead."

The faint sound of bell came from the school and Mason picked up and left. The crowd stood there as he grabbed my hand and we walked into the school. The students who did not see the fight were now staring at the newly reserected Mason. The football team stopped dead in there tracks as Mason lets go and disappears into his classroom. The teams gaze shifts back to me and I shrug my shoulders what am I supposed to do I have no answers. I walk past them and sit next to the completely silent blaine in class.

"Uh carter is there a reason you are blushing?"

"Uh no... its just.... masons back."

"You are blushing so bad."

"Well yeah I love the dork."

"Have you even seen him shirtless."

"YES!!!!!! I mean yeah sure whatever."

"Haha ok.... I'm going to take it as he looks amazing."

I fall silent.... not because I can't answer but because I want to leave some imagination for Blaine I mean he's not the smartest. The teacher walks in and we fall silent. He lets out a sigh and sits down... a rare occasion that happens when he finds out something weird. He must have seen Mason. The teacher sits there silently and stares into space.

"Sir are you ok?" I ask as he snaps out of his thoughts.

"Yes I just uh..... actually carter may I speak with you." He says gesturing to the door.

I get up and leave the classroom and wait for him to step out.

"So uh... Masons back?..... how is that possible?"

"Well he was never dead.... he was sent off."

"Is that why you've been acting on edge?"

"Yes..... I just kept thinking that something wasn't right and then once I looked into nothing added up.... I met up with mason at the field from a note he hid."

"Who sent him off?"

"A......... Adrian..... he sent him off because he hates me... its like it was my fault he disappeared. Adrian did it to ruin my life and he did."

Tears start to form in my eyes from the thought that he took my love away from me. The teacher saw me and said he would take care of it and sent me to the bathroom. I stand at the sink splashing water into my face. The cold liquid ran down my face helping me calm down. I grab some paper towels and dry my face to see mason behind me in the mirror.

"Um.... hello creepy."

"You know you've always wanted to meet me in the bathroom."

"Uh yeah.... sure I want to meet you in a stinky stinky bathroom.... you got it babe."

Mason chuckled and leaned down to kiss me. His arm wrapped around my waist and we stood there in a kissing formation till the door opened. We quickly separate to see that it was only Adrian.

"Ew gross if your going to do faggot stuff go home."

"Shut up Adrian... why are you like this." I say holding my ground.

"Why am I against what..... gays.... ubsurd people.... because I believe gay isn't right... you two are not good enough for this world ...... Mason you make me wish I actually killed you."

"Adrian watch what you say or I'll..."

"Or you'll what beat me... we already know I'll win... I've already done it once and I'll do it again.... you are a nerd a human punching bag and that's all you'll ever be.... you are nothing."

"Adrian... I've tried to not let what you say get to me but I'm tired of pretending..... I'm tired of you getting your way... sure in a short time we'll be out of here but for the time being I want peace. You have no heart and no soul.... you'll die alone and no one will miss you... you've taken... my heart, my happiness and my Freedom but it ends now.... no one takes my boyfriend away from me.... you and your dumb remarks can shove it leave me alone."

Adrian stands speechless and he gazes towards mason as if asking for an answer to a non existent question. Adrian walks towards me and slips on a waxed tile and hit his head.

"Adrian..... ADRIAN."

A teacher heard us and came running in to see us holding an unconscious Adrian.

"He slipped on a waxy tile.... he's unconscious."

The teacher grabbed their phone and requested an ambulance to come to the school. They gave the dispatcher the address and hung up.

------------------time skip--------------------------

The ambulance pulled up and ran through the halls asking everyone where we were. The teacher stood outside the door waiting until one showed up. They met each other and the paramedics ran in and took Adrian and laid him on the stretcher and took his pulse.

"Its weak.... lets get him out of here."

They ran through the halls with him and loaded him up and drove off.

"Sir please let me and my friends go to the hospital."

The teacher stood still for a second before responding to us.

"Yes of course."

The teacher called the office and within minutes Mykah, Blaine, Charlie, and Yvonne were with me and Mason. After explaining what's happening and why we must to the hospital we loaded up into our cars (Charlies friend had his and I'm driving it) and Blaine started driving. We weaved through the cars and stopped when needed. We arrive at a traffic light and stop. We wait and the light turns green. We both  let off the brake and begins driving through it. Blaine and everyone else is behind me and I begin driving through the light and I hear a semi horn. I look over and the last thing I hear is a ripping sound and a hard force breaks the car In two. I hit my head and everything goes black.
