My Nick Carter/BSB reviews

All American: NJ

So months back when Nick announced his tour back in November, Amy and I planned this trip. I remember when I was waiting for this day to come so impatiently and finally it was here. Crazy how time flies like that. Just like last tour, she picked me up the night before, this time not nearly as late. She picked me up around 9PM. We woke up the next day and ended up leaving around 7am March 11th, 2016. We had VIP and had to make sure we were there by 3:30 for check in, but we also wanted to make sure we had enough time to get ready. I'm so glad we left when we did since we got stuck in NY traffic! Man, that traffic was brutal; we were supposed to be in NJ by 12:15PM and we didn't even get there until at least 1:30.

After checking into our hotel and getting ready, we headed to the venue called IPlayAmerica only to hear this guy reaming out the girls in the VIP line. Seriously he was acting as if he was a Drill Sergeant. Amy and I were like 'dude, it's only a Nick Carter show,' haha. We stepped into the end of the line, but not before saying hello to a few of our friends. So finally after what seemed like hours, they let us in! We all got into yet another line, just chatting it up with other fans and friends. I began to feel thirsty; I've been having problems sleeping so I took some Zzz Quil and I feel like it made me really dehydrated. I asked Amy if she wanted a drink and she said water so I grab two bottles of water and headed back. I glanced up to see Nick walking towards me to get to the other side of the room to begin taking VIP photos. Who wouldn't say hi if they saw Nick Carter walking towards them, so I smiled and said, "Hello, Balgrott." His eyes light up and he immediately opens his arms, "Hey!!!" It was pretty amazing; I couldn't rid the smile from my face. I loved when he would randomly hugs me. A few of the girls were staring at me like "Ummm how did you do that?" Haha, I'm not going to lie, I felt pretty cocky.

In line I ended up meeting my friend Diana; she helped me out during Nick's I'm Taking Off tour. She and Asia invited me to ride with them to do two other shows. I was sad that Asia couldn't have been there, but she had a prior engagement in Texas.

We then were allowed to go into sound check where Nick sang two songs...I remember freefalling and he tried to sing a Bruce Springsteen song but forgot the lyrics so he had to look them up on his phone; it was pretty hilarious. He was being silly and dorky...and well to put it just adorable. He also sang another song; I don't really remember the title. We then took some pictures. When I walked up to him he said, "It's Bitter!" I grinned and replied with, "Hello, Balgrott." I hugged him and showed him his gift I've gotten him back in 2014. I wanted to give it to him for Nick&Knight but it never shipped in time. It was from China. It's a World of Warcraft toon; his character actually. He was so amazed by it. He couldn't stop looking at it and he said how awesome it was and that he wants gear like that haha. He then asked if I've been on and whatnot. I told him yes. He smiled and gave me a tight hug. We then took our picture and before we departed he said, "Come on, give me another hug." I hugged him and he kissed me on the cheek...yep...I melted. I've never gotten a kiss from him before. I always wanted to ask but for some reason I was too bashful...me bashful? I know, right crazy.

Riley Biederer was his opening act, she was a contestant on the show the voice, and as much as I don't care for reality shows, she was very talented. When she first came out on stage she looked like Carrie Underwood. I was impressed. I can see her going far.

Nick then came out around 9:10pm and started with Blow Your Mind. This guy can put on one hell of a show...my God! Seriously his set list lasted about 2 hours! I got front row, I was to the left side and the eye contact he was giving me was incredible. I was fan girling hardcore when he would keep on staring in my direction and Amy even said, "He keeps looking over here." I grinned and uttered, "I know." I felt like he was eying the crap out of me. One of the perks of playing World Of Warcraft with him was the extra attention he would give. I love that guy. After the attention I'm like, "I need a selfie with him." In order to get a selfie you needed to spend 100$ on merchandise, but I did it. To me it was worth it. During the show, I drank a little...three drinks on an empty stomach. Yeah, I was kind of tipsy, haha. I'm what they would call a light weight. But to my defense I had two cups of wine and a sex on the beach.

I was at the end of the selfie line with Diana. I wanted to be one of the few last ones that way I could spend more time with him. I walked up to him and he smiled and energetically said, "It's BitterrrBeauty!" I drunkenly laughed and said, "Hiii, Balgrott." I may be slurring by this time. I told him I was a little drunk and he laughed at me and said, "Oh yeah, you feeling good?" I snickered, "Yes, but there's no tequila!" He laughed at me again and I'm feeling brave, maybe even a little flirty. I said, "Okay, so I'm going to be brave and do something." He stares at me and laughs before asking, "What's that?" I walked over to him and kissed him on the cheek and he laughs again and embraces me in a hug, "Aw, thank you." I then said, "I'm gonna be brave again and ask for a kissing selfie." He smiled and happily replied with, "Of course!" I said, "Yay, but you'll need to hold my phone, haha." He laughs when he saw I couldn't hold my phone for the life of me, it kept on trembling. I think he found me amusing. He's like, "Don't worry, I got it." He takes my phone and presses his lips to my cheek and I pucker up and he takes like four pictures, they're not the same either. Each picture, his lips go from kissing me to curling up into a smile. Needless to say it's my favorite selfie! He then asked me if I'm going to anymore shows. I flirtatiously reply, "Why? You want me to go to more shows?" He smiles and says, "You know I do!" I told him that I'll be going to NYC tomorrow. He smiled and said, "Good, that's not a far drive for you. That's close. You doing anymore?" I told him I'll be in Boston." I thought it was sweet he cared that it wasn't far from me. Before I left he said, "Okay, give me one more hug." I hugged him once more and kissed his neck....yep I was brave. I was tipsy; I normally wouldn't do things like that to him. I try to be one of those respectful fans that aren't too much. I don't' like to be all over him...I like him viewing me as one of the sane ones lol. He seemed perfectly fine with it though haha I didn't go over any boundaries. He knows me and knows I'd never go over that line, especially since I adore his wife. And I do have a boyfriend...whom I love with my everything. Well, anywho, this is my first review for Nick's All American Tour, day one!
