So I was planning on only going to one Nick&Knight show. I don't make the type of money to go to different states, do multi VIPs and travel like many other fans. But I was content that I was only able to do one, I got one VIP and I a Quickie out of it. It was great! I was pleased and Nick treated me amazing. I couldn't ask for more. Well...a few months earlier I was on twitter and I saw my friend, Amy tweet if anyone wanted to go to a Nick & Knight show with her. We met at the BSBBQ back in 2012 in Hershey. I decided to bite the bait and I told her I'd love to go. Well, we got into talking and well, the show she wanted to go to was in Philly. I told her I didn't drive and such and she was down with getting me and all that. Tickets were GA so they weren't as expensive as the Boston show. Amy asked if I wanted to do VIP and God I would love to do VIP again, but since Tiff spoiled me rotten on my birthday back in June I bought her a VIP for Boston, I couldn't afford another. I told Amy there was no way I could come up with $250, she told me she'd pay for half, so if I could come up with $150 she would pay the other $100. I was speechless! Really? I told her she didn't have to do that, but she didn't wanna do VIP alone, so of course I had to say yes. I don't know how I'm so lucky to have the friends that I do...it baffles me sometimes. Later on, she said the boys are having two shows back to back...so we decided to do both shows...and Sunday Oct 12th would be our VIP day.
We were going to be staying at this nice hotel called Hamptons Inn, but we needed another person, to bring the price down. My friend Lana was going to the same show...we have been friends online for a few years and finally we could meet! We were ecstatic! Well, she said she was going to be staying in the same hotel as us and Amy thought maybe she should just room with us, that way it's cheaper for her and it'll help us out too. So I offered the idea to her and she was game. So instead of us having to pay $150 each, we were only paying 99...not too shabby.
Amy picked me up Friday night, she lives about an hour or so away from me and since I don't drive it was easier for her to pick me up the night before instead of the day of. We woke up around 7am, we wanted to leave by 8:15 the latest. We made great time! I really like Amy and I think that was why I liked the ride so much. We only got lost when we got to Philly and were looking for parking for our hotel, haha. Lana took a train in and they let her into the hotel by calling us to get the okay from Amy, since it was in her name.
Lana was doing VIP that day, we met up in our room, got changed and walked down to the venue, which was only like one block away, not even! Once Lana went in for VIP, Amy and I met up with her friend, Tara and her friend Michelle, whom is a Jordan fan. Well...after the night is over she got converted to a Nick fan...yeah Nick is good like that
We decided to get something to eat, since Amy and I only ate at Dunkins in the morning. We decided to go to Hard Rock café, I love it there. The food is great. We waited until I think 6:30 to get in line for GA...I really liked Michelle and Tara they were so nice. For the show, I stood next to Michelle she is so fun! Since Lana had VIP she was closer to the stage, she was willing to stand next to us, but I told her no. We would all stand together for VIP tomorrow, I didn't want her to give up her spot for us. She is an amazing friend, might I add. The show was absolutely amazing...Nick had so much energy, just like Boston, but he was jumping around more. He even poured water on his head and stuck his tongue out...it was like he was 23 again! Blast from the past! Nick was super sick the night before for Lana's other show, to the point his voice was cracking and going out. I have no idea how he recovered so quickly...I swear he has Wolverine healing power, haha.
