Percy dragged his feet forward, only a few yards away from the place where Nico had to be. His whole body shivering, he stopped as he reached the door. He wasn't sure whether to burst in, though the door is almost certainly locked, or to wait for whoever was inside to come out. It turned out Percy would never get to make that decision.

At that moment, a particularly cold wind blew, making Percy shiver even more, causing him to accidentally use all remaining energy he had left, and almost as if the wind blew a black paper over his eyes, Percy fell unconscious.

Thalia was fuming, when she woke up in the infirmary. She saw Amelia, the girl she assumed Percy had brought, and Artemis. After a few minutes of the usual questions, Phoebe burst into the tent.

"The boy woke up." she said.

"Then where is he?" Thalia asked in response.

"That's the thing. He left."

"So? That's not that strange, except for the fact that I figured he'd say good bye to Sam." Artemis inquired.

"It's more how he left. He woke up, and shot to his feet, his sword out, like he was having a dream. But then he started muttering stuff about finding Nico. It was weird." Phoebe finished.

"Oh no. I hadn't heard from Nico in a little bit. I figured it was because he was in Alaska, but- oh." Thalia realized exactly what had happened, more or less. "I need to find them both. Alaska. I need to go there now."

"You can't go, Thalia. You need rest." a voice said from another bed, but Thalia didn't listen.

"They need help. Whoever could kidnap Nico while he was on his guard has to be powerful. Even if it is Alaska. Please m'lady!" Thalia continued pleading her case.

"Thalia. It would only be you against whoever is behind this." Artemis told her.

"What- no. Percy's probably already there! He'll help." Thalia protested.

"If Perseus is in Alaska right now, he might already be gone." Artemis said.

"Why? He's been to Alaska before."

"Thalia. Perseus is a god. He can't survive in Alaska, especially not with the cold. It's October. The weather's already below freezing."

"Percy's a- Wait- How- What? He's a god now? How did that even happen? That's all the more reason for me to go, to save both of them. I have to go! Now, can you flash me up there, or will I have to walk?" Thalia exclaimed, and the goddess of the hunt sighed, giving in.

"Very well. But only because I know you'll go anyway, and this way you will have a better chance." Artemis snapped her fingers, and her and Thalia appeared at the same spot Percy had appeared at just fifteen minutes before, wearing thick wool clothes. As she looked around, she noticed a lone golf cart like machine.

"Use that to travel. You can't go very fast, the ground is too rocky, but you should at least be able to save your energy." Artemis instructed her lieutenant, and Thalia nodded, before jumping in and heading off in the direction the goddess was now pointing for her to go. If Thalia had glanced back to try and spot the goddess, she would have been disappointed to find the she had already vanished, gone in search of someone who could help.

As Thalia drove the cart as quickly as she could, she felt her worry build up more and more. She was freezing, even wearing the proper clothing. And she had no doubt that Percy would have been in too much of a panic to change his outfit before trying to head in. The farther she went with no sign of her cousin was both worrying and reassuring. She'd been driving for almost an hour, when she finally spotted something other than the ground. A single building stuck out in the distance, a bright light coming from it. Thalia pressed her foot down hard, speeding up until the cart bounced up and down with every foot it went. She watched as the silhouette grew bigger until it became a defined shape, and until she decided to abandon the cart for the sake of secrecy. Thalia hopped out of the cart, grabbed her weapon, and quietly ran towards the building. She stopped suddenly, however, when she saw a dark figure lying still on the ground. Her eyes widened in fear of the worst, and she darted forward, dropping to her knees at the side of the unconscious body.
