Nathan POV:
The uber pulled up to my house and Curtis and I got out. I rummaged through my bag to find my car keys. When i did, we both got in and started off down the road. Curtis looked half dead.
"You're cute when you're sleepy" I said while switching my eyes between the road and him. He just groaned.
"Where do you wanna eat?" I stopped at a stop sign and looked at him.
"Well, I mean, there aren't many places open at 4:30 i'm the morning" We both smiled.
"Lets just stop and get coffee and mcdonald's, we'll get breakfast after we watch the sunrise." I kept my eyes on the road
"Ok" Curtis finally opened his eyes.

Curtis POV:
I took a sip of the coffee and only a minute later I instantly felt almost awake.
"Here" Nathan said.
"That was a short ride" I unbuckled my seatbelt. It was a small lake surrounded by a countless amount of rocks.
"I used to come here when I wasn't in the best place, It was only a 10 minute walk from my old house"
"It's a very pretty place" I was amazed by the views and how the rising sun reflected on the beautiful almost clear lake. I sat down next to Nathan on the edge of the rock. He laid his head on my shoulder and I wrapped my arms around him. We sat there in silence admiring the beauty of the new day that just began to start. Once it was fully up, it started getting warmer outside. I took my sweatshirt off and placed it next to me. Nathan now switched his position to where his head was in my lap
"What time is it?" Nathan looked up at me. I pulled out my phone.
"7:01" I leaned down and kissed his forehead.
"Alright, lets get something to eat and then we can head to my house" Nathan sat up and grabbed his belongings. I did the same and we headed towards his car. We decided to just stop at a diner that wasn't so far down the street.

I ordered pancakes and he preferred french toast and eggs. It was pretty vacant and quiet in the diner because it was so early in the morning. When we were leaving I took out my credit card but Nathan insisted on paying, he didn't allow any fighting from me and swiped his card before I could argue.

Nathan POV:
"It's almost eight, by the time we get to my house, it'll be a little past eight which means my mom will be up. She leaves for work at nine every morning"
I buckled my seatbelt and started the car. The whole car ride we jammed out to One direction songs. I pulled into the driveway and turned my car off. Curtis and I grabbed our bags and walked up to the door. I grabbed my key and unlocked it. I told Curtis to just put his bag next to the stairs. I ran up the stairs and saw my mom drinking her coffee while reading the newspaper.
"Nathan!" He voice showed enthusiasm and you could tell she was very excited.

Curtis POV:
I followed close behind Nathan as he ran upstairs to greet his mom. When she was done hugging him and jumping with excitement she walked over to me.
"I've heard so many good things about you Curtis, stay as long as you'd like. It's a pleasure to have you!" She smiled and I did the same
"Thank you" I said while looking at her and then quickly switching my stares over to Nathan.
"Mom, we are gonna go get some sleep, but we will see you later when you get back from work" Nathan pushed me towards the stairs and his mom just nodded and waved.
We got down to his bedroom and he laid down on his bed, basically falling asleep the second he hit it. He did manage to say one thing though.
