Chapter 6

(Eternity's P.O.V)

Ben...is in love with me?Wow... I don't know how to respond. I stand up and simply walk out the door. I started to walk back to Jane's house, but tripped over something. No, it wasn't a "black root" like last time, it was something shiny. I crawled over to the shiny object and attempted to pick it up. I quickly tumbled a few feet away when I tried to pull it. Damn, this thing was lodged deep into the ground. I grunted and started to dig the shiny thing up. I finally got it fully uncovered and must is say, that was freaking hard! I touched the whip, but quickly recoiled back in agonizing pain. That fucking whip burnt the living shit out of my hand! I looked down at my hand and sighed angrily. There was a star burnt deep into my hand and blood started to rise. I groaned and reached for the whip again. This time, it didn't burn me, but it wrapped around my wrist, as if it was a snake. I flipped my hand upwards and the whip kind of slithered down to my hand in a very fast motion. I cracked the whip and laughed.

"Haha, bitches! Who's the badass now, huh?" I said out loud even though no on could hear me.

"You."

I quickly spun around to see a boy with brown hair, green eyes, a black fuzzy coat, jeans, a stripped scarf, and black sneakers. He smiled and walked towards me, stopping directly in front of me.

"Who the hell are you?" I asked with venom laced into my voice.

"Hello, I'm Liu. Do you happen to know a Jeffrey?" He asked while staring me directly into the eyes.

"No. But, my friend Jane always told me of a boy named Jeffrey Woods who ruined her life."

"Yes, he did. And I want to get revenge on him too. He ruined my life also."

I tilted my head to the side and smiled a little. This boy intrigued me, and I wanted to know why he was looking for this "Jeffrey" too. I've always wanted to know what Jane had against this Jeffrey boy, I've also wanted to meet him. He seemed very intelligent to be able to hide from Jane for this long.

"May I spend more time with you? You interest me, very few people interest me." He says while raising a brow.

"Uh, sure. And I'm...flattered? I guess..." I say while allowing the whip to slither back up my arm.

Liu walks forward and takes my hand, slowly turning it over to where my palm faces upwards. He gasps and his eyes widen.

"What?!" I say as I look down at my palm and nearly scream. Black lines are appearing where I got burnt and are spreading up my arm to the place where the whip is. I feel a sharp pain in my back and I scream. I fall to the ground as someone holds me in their arms.

"It'll all be over in a second. You'll be fine, I won't let you die, ever." And then everything was blacker than my eyes.

"Look! She's waking up!"

"Dang, she's got an ass on her, eh?"

"I do agree, she does have quite a big one."

"You guys! Leave her alone! She is my daughter after all! And I'm sure her father wouldn't be happy about saying she has 'quite an ass on her'!"

I slowly peel my eyes open and try to sit up. Whoever I'm lying on helps me lean up. The blurry figures standing in front of me start to become more enhanced. I look back to the person who's holding me and see Liu. He smiles and tucks a strand of my hair behind me ear. I blush and look back at everyone on front of me. There's a girl with pink hair who looks like the biggest slut in the world, a girl with blond hair and a skull mask, a boy who looks like a clown, Bloody Mary, and a boy who looks like Ben. I jump up and race towards the boy. I quickly tackle him in a hug and giggle a little as he falls back on the ground.
