How It Ends...

Ben holds me tight in his arms as we stare at the water. I smile as I look over at him. I'm so grateful to have him...

I'm still shocked that it was all a dream, but we're happy now. It's been a year since I found out it was all a dream, but I still love him, yet I haven't told him. I want to do it so bad, but I'm waiting for the perfect moment. He looks over at me and sweeps my brown hair from my blue eyes.

"You're so beautiful, E. I'm so glad you're mine...forever." He says as he smiles.

I sigh happily and close my eyes. I lean my head on his shoulder and he wraps an arm around my waist. I take his hat like I used to, and put it on my head. He laughs and looks over at me.

"What?" I ask as I open my eyes and stare at the moon's reflection in the water.

"You look better than I do in that hat," he kisses my cheek. "And I look sexy in it." He says as I laugh and shake my head playfully. He ruined a perfect moment, but oh well. That's why I love him...

He gets up and I watch. Smiling he gently takes my hand and pulls me up. He smile as he pulls me in for a kiss, and then gets down on one knee. Oh...

He pulls out a ring, and smiles up at me.

"Eternity," he starts as my eyes widen. "I've loved you since I met you, and I never had the guys to tell you. I know we've been through some hard times, but we concurred them together," he says as my eyes get watery. "I want to spend the rest of my life with you, an I hope you want to spend yours with me. Eternity Marie Winters, will you stay with me forever, in marriage?" He asks as I smile and the tears finally flow down my cheeks.

"Yes," I whimper as he gets up and slips the ring on my fourth finger. I look up at him and smile.

"I love you, Ben." I say as I run my fingers through his hair.

"I love you too, E." And then he kissed me.

"You're my Link, Ben." I say as I kiss him.

"And you're my Zelda, E." He mumbles against my lips.

At this moment, I knew we'd be together our entire lives. And I can't wait to grow old with my Ben.
