A/N: Hey guys! Our exams are done (I think. We still have exams in Electronics and Calculus which are both elective subjects. I didn't choose this. T_T)! And thanks for all those people who greeted me a Happy Birthday (either in advance, the actual day, and even after)! Just to tell you, my birthday's uneventful (I'll tell you what happened in the next chapter along with what happened in our 3-day exams.)
Previously on The Dark Element...
A tear fell from the orange-capped boy. He wiped it away and went in search of Yaya, who would be next. He just hopes that Ying hasn't got to her yet.
Thank you for being my friend, Ying. And I'm sorry for doing this. I'm sorry for keeping this a secret from all of you. But can't help me. Only I can.
Now on with the story.

After his confrontation with Ying, BoBoiBoy went in search of Yaya. Fortunately (or unfortunately), he found her in the kitchen, baking her cookies.
"Hey, Yaya!" BoBoiBoy greeted the pink hijab girl.
"Hey, BoBoiBoy! When did you get out of the infirmary?" She asked.
"A few hours ago. Want me to help?" the orange-capped boy said, gesturing to the cookies.
"No need, I'm almost done. Thanks for asking."
Silence was set upon them as Yaya finished baking her cookies.
"So, have you met the others?" Yaya asked her friend.
The element manipulator hid his nervousness and smiled. "Yeah, they were quite happy too."
Yaya finished putting the newly-baked cookies on her basket. "They should be. They're your friends, after all."
Friends.
This is my chance. BoBoiBoy inhaled deeply and let it out. "Hey, Yaya? Can I eat some of your cookies?"
Yaya was very ecstatic. It was the first time someone actually offered to eat her cookies. "Sure!" She said, offering her basket.
BoBoiBoy sighed and took a cookie and ate it. "Yaya?"
"Yes, BoBoiBoy?"
"What ingredients did you use in making these cookies?"
"Let's see. Flour, Sugar, Chocolate Bar, Butter, Date Spices, Lime leaves, Lemon Grass, Cinnamon, Fresh Milk from a Local White Goat, and Onions. Why do you ask?"

"Oh, nothing. It's just that it tastes like sandpaper," BoBoiBoy nonchalantly said, twirling the half-eaten biscuit in his hand.
"WHAT DID YOU SAY?!" Yaya fumed.
"What? It's true. Your biscuits taste horrible. That's why no one wants to eat it," BoBoiBoy doesn't want to do this. He really doesn't.
"YOU- Ugh, nevermind. At least you're honest," Yaya sighed.
BoBoiBoy jolted. This was not meant to happen. "Wait, what?! You're not angry with me?" he asked indignantly.
Yaya smiled. "No, BoBoiBoy. I know my cookies taste terrible, I can see it on your faces. I just keep baking it like that because I want you to be honest with me."
The dino-capped boy was silent.
"BoBoiBoy?" Yaya asked in concern. "Are you okay?"
BoBoiBoy opened his mouth to speak then closed it. He didn't know how to continue.
Finally, BoBoiBoy sighed (again) and decided to tell the truth to his friend. "Yaya..."
"Ochobot found out that I have a new element."

A/N: The poll is over! Ha! Change of story plan! A lot of people voted on friendship so I kinda tweaked the story a little bit. I didn't know how to incorporate it if BoBoiBoy already broke his friendship to the gang, so I made it like this. I might change/delete the Prologue. What do you think? It's kinda cliche, but I don't know how else to do it.
Yaya: At least he admitted it.
Gopal: Good thing he hasn't gotten to me yet.
BoBoiBoy: Or what?
Gopal: I might change you to a human food.
Fang and Ying: ... (I do not ship FaYi tho)
Author: *clears throat* Anyway, since the poll is over, the pairing is decided!
BBB and the gang: What?
Author: The pairings are *insert drumroll* BlIce, ThundClone, ThoLar, and FaKe!
BoBoiBoy and Fang: WHAT?!
Yaya, Ying and Gopal: *sighs in relief*
Yaya: But, how are you going to do that.
Author: That's the question, eh? Simple. I'm going to mix two plots from the poll, both of which has the highest votes. The friendship plot mixed with the permanent split. As for BBB Dark, I dunno. I don't want to break ThoLar nor even FaKe, but I think Dark will do with Light, Quake with Thorn, and Fang, I might pair you with Ying. But I'm still unsure. Yaya and Gopal however, is safe from the pairing, at least for now. I might pair you with OCs.
BBB and the gang: *protests but knows that the Author has the last decision* Fine... but ask the reader what they think first.
So yeah, whatd'ya think? Should I break ThoLar and FaKe and pair Light x Dark, Thorn x Quake and FaYi? Or I'll just pair BBB Dark with either Yaya or Ying?
Why is the Author's Note longer than the actual story?! T_T
