Stanley woke up to someone poking his cheek, turning over and grunting. Someone giggled, before someone else had poked him in the ribs and another poked him in the cheek again. When he opened his eyes, he spotted both John and Eliana looking at him.
When he pushed himself, Kyoko was looking at him from the end of the bed. Both Eliana and John looked at him, until he roared, wrapping his arms around their torsos and fall backwards.
Laughing both of them wiggled out of his arms, before running out of the room. Kyoko nodding as she quickly followed them, leaving him to get dressed for the day.
Jakob would be coming over soon to discuss everything that had been done when he was away, the Warriors of Team Six would be joining them.
"Ah, Kyoko," Stanley said as he walked into the kitchen, surprised as she placed her hands on Shriya's rich bag. The same black lines appearing on the material as the ones that spotted the walls.
"She's given us some of her supplies," Shriya told her, Eliana and John setting up the table. Huffing Kyoko pointed to the small barrel that they kept their salted meat, in hopes that bugs or rodents didn't get it.
Black lines along the edge of the barrel, ice melting on top, but Stanley guessed they wouldn't need it anymore.
"We won't need ice anymore, she's added a seal to it," Shriya told him, grinning in amusement. "Said it'll keep the mean fresh for about two weeks, which is a bit better then the three days we used to be able to keep them."
Kyoko blinked at him, before shrugging and going back to placed seals on said rice bag. Shriya tapping her on the shoulder when she was done, pointing at the table. Stanley sitting across of her, John next to him and Eliana next to John.
"It'll keep rice from rotting," Kyoko told them, folding her hands in her lap. "And since you're feeding Sheikh and I, it's only fair that I help with some of the supplies."
"I'm running low on some herbs," Shriya told her, picking up a list and passing it to Kyoko. Allowing her to look over it, before she nodded her head.
"I can get them," Kyoko told her looking at list, blinking when Shriya placed a plate in front of her. Before putting plates in front of everyone. "They shouldn't be hard to find. Most of them grow along river banks, others grow alongside tree sides. Most of them are common here."
"May has offered to take over some of Eliana and John's lessons, along with a play date," Shriya told her, smiling as she placed cups in front of Eliana and John. "I have to drop off some of my medication to some of my clients."
"Then I best get going," Kyoko told her.
"After you ear, dear, you weight so little," Shriya told her, putting another two cups in front of them. Before sitting down next to Kyoko.
They would be gone, before Jakob and he finished their conversation about the bridge. Today would be a late day, starting at lunch instead of early morning.
"Magic does take a bit of energy to perform, when you run low on energy and are in an emergency then it does take energy from stored fat," Kyoko admitted shrugging her shoulders, as if it wasn't an important fact. "It's the reason why Mages eat more than most, more so after battles."
"Is that so?" Shriya asked her.
"It is," she replied, before going starting to eat her breakfast, Eliana and John continued eating theirs. "Is there a plan for today? I'm to guard your family, Sheikh told me after dinner that was what Winston had told him."
"Why don't you get the herbs," Shriya told her, Kyoko nodding her head before unsealing the same wristband that she had given him on the walk from Doiteain.
