I decided to try not worry about it right now. It took a few minutes before Maka and Soul tried to convince us everything would be okay. It actually took the Voice to tell me to go inside the Death Room. My biggest worry was the guillotines that made up the hall leading to our principal’s ‘office.’

We finally entered a room which was had thin black crosses scattered across the sand. The room itself was just weird. There were several people standing on a platform. The only other thing in the room seemed to be a mirror. There were four people chatting with their backs faced to us. Suddenly, this odd figure spun around. He looked like a cartoonish version of the grim reaper. He had a large black cloak, white mask, and large white hands and I immediately recognized him as one of the things I saw when I read Giggly’s mind. Was he in a costume? I have seen a lot of costumes being worn today…

“Hey, hiya, ho!” He greeted in a comical voice. “I was told I’d have three more students attending!”

Jeb… How’d he know I was bringing Level with me?! I’m guessing that this guy was our principal. He seems a lot nicer than the one in Virginia. The three other figures turned around to face me. They were the last people I wanted to see.

“F-Father, these are the new students you were talking about!” Goldie gasped.

“Father? You’re the principal’s son?” I hissed pointing a finger at him.

               “Not her!” Coward groaned.

“It still hurts…” Giggly muttered rubbing on a bandage with a blotch of crimson red wrapped around her forehead.

Lord Death’s expression fell. Maka turned to me. “You know Kid?”

               “Huh?’ I asked.

Lord Death looked from Goldie, his son, to me. “So you’re the girl who agitated my son?” Lord Death asked sadly and slowly.

Wow, I agitated them?! “Yep!” I said proudly. I take pride in my work!

Goldie frowned. “She’s terrible! You can’t possibly let her attend this school! She- She tried to ruin my symmetry.” He whined.

I scoffed and stormed over to him. “The only terrible thing here is your hair. Those white stripes were never even in style!” I pointed a finger at his hair. That fashion accusation I just made would make Nudge proud!

“M-My h-hair?” He asked shakily and brought his hands up to his hair slowly.

Soul groaned. “Great, now you’ve done it.”

He dropped to the ground and pounded a fist on the ground continuously. “YOU’RE RIGHT! I’M GARBAGE! ASSYMETRICAL GARBAGE! I SHOULD BE LEFT ON THE CURB ON GARBAGE DAY…” Goldie trailed on.

I looked at a stressed out Lord Death. I find it really weird how his mask can change expressions… unless it’s not a mask! “Maka, Soul, thank you for leading our new students here. You are dismissed.” Maka and Soul hesitated before exiting and making their way through the guillotine hallway.

Coward sighed and Giggly just laughed as she pointed a finger at Goldie who kept on crying.

“What did I do? Did I break him or something?” I asked kneeling down next to him. Angel and Level linked arms and skipped over to my side.
