Eight

Cheryl's POV.
The only thought going through my mind this morning while waiting for Toni to wake up is that note, with a knife attached to it, I don't know why this was the thought but it was creeping me out.
My thoughts were interrupted by another thought, a specific three words I said to Toni last night.
'I love you.'
I said those words last night, did she say them back? I fell asleep right after I said it. Is it to soon though? Does she feel the same? God dammit Cheryl why did you have to move so fast.
Maybe she does feel the same. Maybe she did say it back.
"Cheryl, are you okay? You seem lost." I heard Toni saying while she's just waking up.
"U-uh yeah, sorry I was lost in my thoughts" I said quickly and got up to put on a change on clothes from the party last night, realizing what time it is,
"Shit, Toni, we've slept all day!" I said freaking out.
"It's okay, we have the night, let's go to pops." Toni said to me, trying get to calm me down, man a milkshake does sound good.
"Alright, I guess." I said, and got dressed and so did she.
While we were driving to pops, we saw an animal. Just on the side of the street, we stopped to check on what it was, and it was a dog, just laying around on the street, it didn't have a collar.
"Toni, this dog doesn't have an owner? Should we bring it somewhere?" I asked and went up to the dog, and it stood up, and sniffed me.
"I-I don't know, we can't bring it on the motorcycle.. " she said, still on the bike.
"We can't just leave it here.." I said and started petting it, it seemed friendly.
"Cheryl, I don't know what to do, I don't know how we could get it anywhere, unless we walk anywhere." She said and crossed her arm.
"Well, we aren't far.." I said, and she sighed.
"Cheryl, your not walking to pops from here." Toni said.
"Well, then I don't know what to do Toni, I don't want to leave this dog on its
Own." And at this moment we saw a truck come from the opposite way we're from, and it's Kevin, why the hell is he out here.
"Hey guys, what're you doing on the side of the road. It's late." Kevin said and stepped outside of the truck.
"Well, we spotted an animal and didn't know what exactly it was, so we stopped, and now Cheryl doesn't want to leave it." Toni explained, and I was playing with the dog, he was really friendly.
"Hey, I'll take him, and bring him to the vet, and get him checked out, and make sure he's okay." Kevin said, and walked up to the dog, and pet him, and the dog was attached to him instantly.
"Hey, he likes you!" I said and smiled and walked up to Toni, and sat on the bike again.
"Well, you don't have to but if you want to." Toni said and chucked at the dog playing around with Kevin, it was pretty adorable in all honestly.
"I totally will, he's already attached to me anyways, so how can I say no to him, he's  playful, and I'll probably get attached to him" Kevin said and walked back to his truck and the dog followed him, and jumped into the truck.
"Well it was nice running into you, and we'll see you tomorrow, to check up on the dog." I said and said our goodbyes to Kevin and we went our ways, Toni and I going to pops, and Kevin going to who knows.
When we arrived at pops, we got our drinks, only milkshakes, and a thing of fries to share.
"Well that was fun, finding a dog, and running into Kevin. Wicked unexpected." I said, and took a sip of my milkshake.
"Well, the dog was odd to find." Toni said, and just stared outside the window.
"Toni, is everything okay, you seem distracted." I asked her, she did seem distracted not usually her.
"Uh, yeah, just a little hungover still from the party." She said, sounded like complete lie, but I guess I'll let it slide.
"Oh. Okay." I said, and just sighed.
The rest of the time was just silent, felt off, Toni wasn't really herself.
"So, wanna go right home? Or go on a little ride?" Toni asked, seeming to be more herself
"Hmm, let's go on a ride." I said, and she smiled, and got up I followed her, but she stopped me, and gave me a kiss,
"Sorry I was a little off, I was just over thinking stuff, with the serpents, and everything is okay now. Don't worry." She explained, and I nodded.
"It's okay, but know I worry Toni, when you seem off." I said, and we got to the bike, and got on together.
"I do too Cheryl, your life is hell, and I worry about you all the time, but worry more about yourself then me." She explained, and no, she's my worry when she's off.
"Yeah, sure, like your not my worry all the time" I said and she chuckled and we went on a little ride, just around, for about an hour or something and then we went to sweet water river, we've been out all night, and we decided to watch the sunrise, and we invited the gang since nobody slept throughout the night, everyone slept throughout the day, and we all met up at sweet water river, and shared some drinks, and laughs, and we watched the sunrise all together, overall a good time, and a great way to get stuff off your mind,
But most of the time of all of us together, me and Toni were right next to eachother, also Toni talking to Sweetpea and fangs.
I talked a lot to Veronica and Betty, they seem happy together, I ship it.
"Well guys, that was fun, but the day just started, what should we all do today?" Veronica asked all of us.
Knowing something.
"Let's all go on a vacation, all together" Betty mentioned, and everyone agreed.
"That's my girl, knowing exactly what's in mind." Veronica smiled at Betty, and she smiled back, both sharing a little kiss, Archie and Jughead didn't seem to mind that they found and interest in each other.
"Yeah! Let's do that, that seems amazing and relaxing, and something we all need" I said, and everyone was excited and we set off to leave near noon today so everyone can get ready, we all were going to meet at thistle house, and Betty and Veronica were going to come over early, and plan everything and book everything.
So, that's what's going on for the next week, and amazing vacation for all of us.
