It had been two weeks since Peter's attack and none of the Avengers had mentioned it. They must have believed Sam's story. Peter was still nervous about Tony, but he hadn't asked him about it yet, so he hoped his was in the clear.

Today the Avengers were very bored. There weren't any alien invasions to stop so they weren't really sure what to do with themselves. Right now, they were just sitting in the living room making small talk.

At one-point Clint noticed Peter asleep on the floor and he nudged Thor in the shoulder. "Want to have some fun?" he and Thor started chuckling as they snuck over and stole Peter off the couch. Some how none of the other Avengers noticed. The two found a small closet filled with cleaning supplies and they placed the sleeping boy inside.

Thor laughed as they locked the door "Man of spiders won't be happy when he wakes up." They both went back to the living room and waited for the inevitable.

A few minutes later Sam looked around the room and noticed something was missing. "Where's Peter?" As if on cue loud crashing was heard from the hallway. All the Avengers went to find out what happened while Clint and Thor chuckled to themselves.

Tony found the closet and he told Friday to unlock the door. A second later Peter jumped out of the room and tackled Tony to the ground. He looked angry. Out of nowhere he punched Tony in the face. Steve and Bucky grabbed onto him and held him back. "Where is he?!" he yelled glaring at everyone in the room.

Sam quickly stepped up "Pete he's not here he's in prison. He can't hurt you!"

"I need to find Liz!" he yelled still trying to get away "She needs to know about her dad!"

"She already knows." Sam assured "Her and her mom moved away remember? They're safe. He can't find them."

Peter kept gazing around the room as if looking for something. When he didn't find it, he started to calm down and stopped struggling. Once they were sure he was calm Steve and Bucky let go of him.

Peter finally looked up and saw that Tony's nose was bleeding. "Mr. Stark... I... I'm so sorry..." he then curled into himself and started sobbing. No one knew what was happening.

Sam sat down next to him "Hey Pete it was an accident don't get upset. Tony's fine. Aren't you Tony?" he looked over at him.

Tony was still in shock "Oh uh... yeah it's fine kid. No harm done really."

"See?" Sam assured him "Trust me, Tony gets punched in the face a lot. Heck, I've always wanted to do it myself." That got a chuckle from some of the Avengers. "He's a real champ. I'm sure Bruce can whip up some medicine that'll make it feel all better. Although you might have hurt his pride a bit. He kinda screamed like a girl when you jumped on top of him." He whispered that last part, but everyone still heard. They were all laughing.

Peter peaked his head up a bit and looked at Tony "You... you sure you're ok Mr. Stark? I... I usually pull my punches... I don't think I did that much that time..."

Tony kneeled down next to him "I'm fine Peter. It's just a broken nose. Nothing that can't be fixed. My question is are you ok? You really had me scared for a second there..."

Sam looked back at Peter. "I think you should tell him. He needs to know." Peter chewed on his lip "If you tell them they can help you."

"Can you tell them?" he asked weakly.

Sam nodded and ruffled his hair. He then stood up and addressed the others. "Peter has PTSD from his encounter with the Vulture a few months ago. The Vulture dropped a building on top of him and Peter barley escaped before fighting him on Tony's plane. Peter sometimes has flashbacks of those events." They were all in shock. How could they not have realized?

Tony wrapped Peter in a tight hug. "Why did you never tell us?"

Peter looked down at the ground "I was afraid you would take my suit away and tell my aunt. She probably wouldn't let me be Spider-Man anymore if she knew..."

Tony was dumbfounded "Pete I wouldn't take your suit away. I gave it back to you because you earned it. In fact, I shouldn't have taken it away in the first place." Something dawned on him "Were you fighting the Vultures in your homemade suit?!" he nodded "Oh my god! You could have died!" he tightened his hold on him and started crying himself. The rest of the Avengers left the room and let them have their moment.

~time skip~

It had been a month since Peter told everyone his secret. Tony had instantly hired him a therapist that worked for SHEILD so that he had another person to talk to. Peter eventually told Aunt May. She was worried about him. But she didn't make him quit being Spider-Man. She knew how much it means to him. All the Avengers were there for him any time he had an attack and he knew he could always count on them. He really did have great friends.
